The third content update is now live for the Windows and Mac version of 14 minesweeper variants (including the demo version)! The update includes the following new content:
1. A new puzzle set [#'] is added to [?] . You can unlock it by completing 5 levels each for all right-hand-side rules in [?] and [+']. 2. A new game mode (ultimate mode) besides normal and expert mode. The game mode is initially locked. You can unlock the game mode by finishing the main game once. 3. Added touchscreen mode. This mode allows you to mark mines and non-mines more easily in touchscreen devices. 4. Added multiple save slots. 5. Color schemes in the drawing mode are now customizable. Customized color schemes are saved. 6. Added Italian translation (thanks to Savez) and other minor fixes to existing languages. 7. The clue range indicator (pointer) now has a customizable color. 8. Added more puzzles to [!!]. 9. Other minor fixes & improvements.
Meanwhile, we are now actively developing the sequel: 14 Minesweeper Variants 2. In case you did not know it yet, there is a demo for 14mv2 that you can try out now!
We are happy to announce that 14 Minesweeper Variants are now available for MacOS, supporting both x64 and arm64 architectures.
Cross-platform Steam Cloud is also supported. You will not lose any progress when switching between a Windows and Mac computer.

Resolved the issue that the framerate drops severely in the menu view when all sets are unlocked.
The hint system for variants [P] and combinational variants with [P] should be much faster for larger boards now (thanks to xxuurruuii for suggesting the optimization)

Fixed a bug that pressing enter during a pop-up message sometimes crashes the game

Added a UI button for board auto-completion when it is applicable. Auto-completion is a function that auto-completes the board when the remaining empty cells are all mines or all non-mines, previously only accessible by keyboard shortcuts (the space bar key by default).
Fixed a bug that incorrectly showed the unlock condition of the +! set in !! sets

14 minesweeper variants have been released for more than 1 month. After 1 month of bug fixes and minor improvements, the first content update has finally arrived. The update (v1.24) features the following new content and bug fixes:
New late-game content with 3 new bonus sets, including 1 new rule and 2 new combinations:
(Late game content spoiler) bonus rule set [A], unlocked by perfecting 3 levels of [T]7x7.
(Late game content spoiler) bonus combination [M][N], unlocked by perfecting 3 levels of [M]8x8, 3 levels of [N]8x8, and 10 levels of [+]8x8.
(Late game content spoiler) bonus combination [N][X], unlocked by perfecting 3 levels of [N]8x8, 3 levels of [X]8x8, and 10 levels of [+]8x8.
2 new achievements for the new content
New settings: FPS cap & options to retain achievements when clearing save file
