ROMBIE now supports all major PC virtual reality platforms. Remember that you don't need VR to enjoy ROMBIE, since it will adjust depending on whether it is enabled or not.

ROMBIE is out of private beta & getting ready for release! Steam Achievements are in, and trading cards are in the works & should be ready on day one. Virtual Reality testing has been going great, so this should be a solid VR experience for those who have that equipment.

5089 Update & Free ROMBIE Key Challenge
5089 has been updated, built with the latest Java 8 development environment. I also tweaked some of the Master's ending dialog that should provide more warning before a lockout event, without giving those endings completely away.
A link to ROMBIE has been added to 5089's main menu & a new robot quote has been added that bots will occasionally speak. Be the first to comment below with that new quote exactly & you'll win a free ROMBIE key!

More unique terrain models
Customized terrain shaders
Revamped decoration system
New ability special effects
An updated trailer, showing more unique gameplay features & set of screenshots are also on the to-do list for release. When will ROMBIE be released? Still looking at a month or two from now -- I want VR features, and general gameplay, to be polished on day one.
