Due to many creative, personal and financial reasons, we can no longer keep updating the software, add more content to it or provide any support on this platform. Update v2.3
Hello,
We've uploaded version 2.3 of 80.08! This update focuses on gameplay improvements. Here's the summary of the changes:
1. We have added two new elements to the User Interface. The first one is called 'Symbol Translator' and can be found in the middle of the upper left side of the screen, next to the 'Visual Profile' button.
When activated, the Symbol Translator will display on the lower left corner of the screen the hidden symbol 'inside' an interactive object. For instance, you could approach one of the Beings and left click one of its interactive objects to learn what symbol is hidden inside of it.
Although the Symbol Translator is not necessary to learn the symbols of all the Beings (there are clues in the Main Hub and inside the Manual), it could be very helpful in case you are missing some data.
2. The second new element is the 'Help' option. This button is located next to the Symbol Translator and it's designed to help you 'skip' some of the Cage-Beings. When you encounter one of these challenges, check if the Help button is active and then click it to enable the Help Process.
3. The Selection Screen has also been updated to reflect the new elements of the User Interface.
A reminder: some locations on the main map have two paths, don't forget to visit them all!

Update v2.2
Hello!
We just wanted to let you know that we released a small update for 80.08 (now version 2.2). We fixed a color effect that wasn't properly working because of the engine upgrade. We discovered this issue while making a new trailer (we think it is much better now, check it out if you have the time).
We also changed the menu screen to match the new version of the game and updated the artwork on Steam.

Update v.2.1
Hello,
Version 2.1 of 80.08 has been uploaded. Here are the changes included in the update:
1. We have updated the game engine! 80.08 now utilizes the latest version of Unity. The upgrade process was not very straight forward but we think it was worth it. The new engine will improve performance and our ability to deliver future updates.
2. The font used to display the Symbol-Language has been changed. There were some letters that weren't working properly with the previous font and we also felt that some symbols needed a more well-defined look. In the following images you can see the difference:
3. When you select a destination in the Map screen, the button will turn green in order to remind you of your choice (you had to remember your selection before).
4. We also added a new visual mode. Press the 'Esc' key and click on the symbol in the upper left corner to trigger the effect. As you can see in the pictures below, the new 'look' is a little more darker and has more defined colors and edges. Try it out in different areas to see the difference. If you wish to turn off the new visual mode, press the 'Esc' key and click on the same symbol one more time.
5. The colors in the title screen have been altered to match the engine update (we think it looks better). And all our previous posts have been translated into Spanish).

Update v.2.0
Hello!
We are glad to share with you the “Source” update for 80.08! The new version of the game includes new areas, new puzzles, new hidden trophies, a new ending and an updated trailer. Here are a few things to consider in order to explore the new content:
-Most of the locations in the first, second and fourth “rows” of the main map now have an alternate destination. Once you select the place you want to visit, another portal will open as shown in the image below. Make sure you don't miss any of the new areas! (there's also a new location of interest in the upper right corner of the map).
-We have included a new ending! You'll have to complete the main puzzles and all of the new challenges to activate some additional “objects” in the final area of the game.
-There's a new puzzle that involves 50.05. We wanted to make “another” link between the two games just in case you have not yet visited the “Place of Words”. Hint: is there a special number related to the Words?
-We encourage you to watch the updated trailer to get a glimpse of some of the new things you'll be able to do in 80.08.

The blue box has 25 nodes. If I type [23][4][9][12][13][14][19][22][23][24] I get the number 3 (some form of number 3).

I like the blue box. I enjoy how it translates the code. From a string of numbers to a symbol. From a symbol to an interpretation. From interpretation to action.

It's just code. A simple list of numbers. I'm being manipulated by a hidden list of values. How is that possible? Why does [23][4][9][12][13][14][19][22][23][24] mean pressing a button?

I wonder if the numbers on the console have a similar effect. What does 50.05 create? Am I living the story built with 80.08?
