An update...

I saw that this was listed as abandonware by a curator. It is not. It is very much in development but I have been waiting to announce or update till things are ready. The updated project will be losing it's online component, because with no install base online games are not really online games so it's not worth the additional work. However, it has become 4 time as large and is progressing towards my original vision. My family and I have moved across the country twice and been in witness relocation for that last year. One of those is not true. I would not recommend buying it right now because I'm pretty sure I'll be releasing it for free when I update it.

Moving on over

So, game is not dead. In the past few months I have decided to spend some time learning more Java and C# and we have moved 3000 miles. I am now a developer living in a cabin in the UP with no running water but plenty free time. There is a lot in the works but I have no timeline on an update because it will be very comprehensive. If you are down for supporting the hope, buy, if not wait a bit.

Thanks for reading,
Cabin dweller

Update - Hollering into the Void

Just an update to let y'all, hello? hello?, know that work is still progressing. We are avoidng small incremental updates in favor of...well not small and incremental updates. Stay tuned, wheels are turning.

No Update Update

You should be able to launch balls at eachother and the one that's shot shot should respawn someone in the world.

Other than that all our work has been on implementing larger things for the next month or so.

Rift support should be coming in the next few weeks.

Two brand new games should added within the next month or so, we are excited to see how you like them, or hate them. Yeah freedom of choice.

Update - Tag Team Back Again

Reintroduced the "plaunchers".

- On top of the dresser in the living room there is a new toy. Grab the plunger looking things by grabbing them with the grips, not trigger.

-grab one of the balls next to them with the grip and place it on the end of the plauncher.

- fire with the trigger, repeat.

- you can also snap balls to your belt in order to carry them as you walk

Also introduced a few more achievements.

Update - Self Validation 2.0

We have a pretty light update here but here are the items.

-We have introducted Steam Achievements!!! Only a few for now but more to come each week.

-Most grabbable object will light up when you touch them, they are very fond of you.

-Oh, for those that were playing Space Wars before, ah Steam should now say 994.

Cool, cool, cool and good night.

Update - Alien Ant Farm

-Continuedwork on locomotion player presence

-Introduced new random immersion event - ants

-Under the hood work to increase FPS

-Tweaked 3-Defender to function more smoothly and changed a power to speed up cooldown times

Update - Nickleback

A lot in this update is about making things more digestible and understandable.

We have added audio and visual cues to many interactions.

Changed the place of some coins

Under the hood locomotion fixes, with more to come

Graphical changes to some elements

More exciting additions to come in the next few weeks.

Thanks for support

Betacon

Hello 994ers.

We have just returned from Betacon Portland where we recieved 2nd Best Local Studio. Joys. We demoed the game for a total of 20 hours to almost non stop lines on two different rigs. We have some specific areas we are going to focus on this week to address issues that reoccured.

- player spacial awareness and prevention of unexpected teleporting, particularly when using the blink teleportatin method.

- visual and audio feedback for all buttons and interactable items

- preventing users from accidentally teleporting while climbing

- setting armswinger as the default (this could change depending on y'alls feedback)
