We've uploaded a public beta branch! It has current fixes for users experiencing a bug or crash at the first animation part of the game's new engine.

Be warned that switching to the Beta build will delete your save data.

Engine Upgrade + Other Fixes
We've got a major update for A Clockwork Ley-Line - Borderline of Dusk - With the 2nd and 3rd games released, we've decided to port the first game into the same engine. This update also includes the addition of English translated SD/CGs together with English credits!

List of Updates:
- English SD/CG
- English Credits / Staff Roll
- Removal of locale emulator loader
- Various text fixes

PLEASE NOTE: This new update will delete all current saves, however, the old game build will be available in the branch named previous where your saves will remain playable.

We just wanted to let you know that A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow, aka the second volume in the Ley-Line trilogy, has just released on Steam! This is a direct sequel so we highly recommend that you finish The Borderline of Dusk before jumping in.

We also plan on updating The Borderline of Dusk to a newer version very soon. Please keep in mind that once we update your previous saves and data will no longer be compatible and can no longer be used. We hope that you understand and decide whether or not to play now or wait till that update comes.

06/19/208 update

  • Update locale emulator.
  • Update loader to be 32bit.


We're still working on a complete fix as well as looking at porting the other games in the series to Ren'Py or Unity as this engine is quite difficult to work with.

Unfortunately, due to how the engine is, saves get wiped however you can use the "previous" branch to avoid removing your saves.
