Session Parameters

Sessions can now be customized with different settings. Friendly fire, invite only and reviving settings.
You can also give the session a name of your choice.

New Gun

We also added a new pistol! Pistols have very fast reloads compared to all other weapons.

New FOB Map Texture

We updated the FOB with it's own map in the tablet! Should make things easier to explore the area.

Support for Invites

You can now send invites and join sessions from invites, granted you're not already in a session.

You can find the invite button in the pause menu. (Steam overlay required)

Next Month's Focus

Some features listed won't necessarily be fully completed within' the month and could take up to several months to be finished or even functional. It's just what we're focusing on the most this time.

FOB Computer

Our next milestone is to get a working FOB computer so players can select cases and manage the FOB.

Recent Progress

Quad Bike

During these past few months we managed to get working vehicles! Now you don't have to waste time walking around the map.

In future updates, the quad bike will be capable of receiving damage from crashing and attack from enemies. The wheels will fall off as damage is taken; Reducing overall speed and control.

Tablet Objectives

Finished the objectives menu for the tablet. You can also pin the current objective to the HUD for convenience.

FOB (Forward Operating Base)

We spent a long time developing "The FOB" map. This map is essentially the main hideout for your team. All cases are launched from here.

New Guns

We also added two new additional guns. Providing long and short range respectively.

Devlog #4 [January 2022]

Welcome to our fourth devlog. Check it out! And thanks for reading!

Recent Progress

Tablet Map

Last month we spent time creating the foundation for our map screen system inside the tablet. So far it supports zooming, tracking objects (like players) and location markers. More map features are still under development such as, pinging a location for others to see, discovering new landmarks and area markers (used for highlighting a search radius).

New Maps

We also spent a lot of time working on two new maps we're proud to show off.

Lost Village

Farmstead

Devlog #3 [December 2021]

Welcome to our third devlog. Check it out! And thanks for reading!

Recent Progress

Virtual Cursor

We created a Virtual Cursor that can be used to interact with screens in the world space. The Virtual Cursor can be controlled via gamepad with the left joystick. It was originally designed to be used for interacting with the new tablet, but later we'll expand on it and add more interactable screens like computers, televisions and touchscreens.

Interactable Tablet

The new Interactable Tablet will be the main interface used during every case in the game. It contains several 'apps' that enable access to different features. The tablet itself is in the world space, but always accessible on the player character.
(Similar to a certain wrist bound computer from a game with vaults)

  • Map: Interactable map with waypoints and landmarks
  • Inventory: The player's inventory
  • Objectives: The case objectives
  • Devices: An interface used to remote control various items (camera, drone, etc.)
  • Recordings: An interface to playback audio logs found in the world

Player Inventory:

The Player Inventory can be accessed via the Interactable Tablet. Use it to select your weapons and preview any item in your inventory.

Additionally, the inventory also shows the stats for a weapon upon hovering over it.

The Inventory has a feature for 'favoriting' your weapons and assigning them to a specific shortcut slot.

(The circle icons are placeholders. Icons unique to each item will be added later)

New Snow Effect

We thought our old snow looked a little too dull, so we made it more interesting and dynamic. Snow will now deform when a player or monster walks over it, leaving a visible trail behind.

Next Month's Focus

Some features listed won't necessarily be fully completed within' the month and could take up to several months to be finished or even functional. It's just what we're focusing on the most this time.
