Patch note - April 14th
Fixed a mistake on level 6-2 Japanese translation. Fixed a bug in the level editor.
Fixed a bug on level select menu
What caused the bug is: An easter egg was written for April 1st months ago. But the game structure changed a lot since then, it became a null reference.
Sorry for the bug. And sorry for the spoiler.
Steam workshop and MacOS version now available.
Finally, Steam workshop support and MacOS build are available. And, thanks to HAC (@tigerauge0) and competor (@GugenTV)'s help, the game's Japanese translation is reworked.
Finally, all proposed features are done, and the full release is coming.
Thank you for your support. And see you in the next game.
Japanese localization update
Japanese translation is now available. That is it.
Bug fix: Mouse scrollwheel and Ctrl+Z
Mouse scrollwheel and Ctrl+Z should work properly now.
To-do list (updated)
Now the game enters early access.
Let's revisit last month's to-do list, and see what to do next:
To-do list: 1. Edge case test We decided to test every possible test case instead. 2. English translation for chapter 3 and later Done. 3. Minimal challenge for chapter 3 and later. Actually, playtesters did better than I expected. Many levels in the game's minimal challenge isn't set as the real minimal value. Overbest the given value will unlock an achievement. 4. A story about how A=B and Pangu Project is created I'm never a good writer, nor a fluent english speaker. At least, the story is better than none. 5. User manual (pdf) In a thematical way. 6. Hotkeys and mouse wheel support Wait, this is on my to-do list? 7. Achievements Done. 8. Level editor and steam workshop support Will be available during early access. 9. Sound effect (Don't expect more sound effects than Understand) Unsure if we'll have one. 10. Minor UI tweak That's the endless quest.
The game will enter early access after step 7. In late October or early November, I hope so. Obviously, 15th Nov counts as early November.
Early access should last for a month if everything goes well. Maybe two?
--- And, the future: Understand will get an update after A=B's full release. I have a few ideas for a new chapter, but I'm not sure if it would work. Sorry, I have a few ideas for Understand 2. New ideas have to be saved for that purpose. At least there will be an update for extra save slots.
Depending on if Pangu Project is well received, our next game will be a dice game or a puzzle game.
I changed my mind. Artless Games' next game will be an auto-generated minesweeper, currently named "10 Minesweeper Variants". Just imagine something like: "Normal minesweeper rules apply. All mines form a snake. The snake are connecting cells of width 1. It never touches itself horizontally or vertically." We'll share more details later.

What to do next: 1. Bug fix. (if any) 2. Mac support. 3. Workshop support. 4. Undecided new features. 5. Take a break. 6. Next game.
