Heavy Fix Update!



I have compiled a pretty comprehensive list of fixes that the community have been asking for over the last month-ish and rolled them into tonight's build, major changes are:

-Joypad support for Zeke, Dutch, The 13th.
-Story mode rejigging to allow players to start with the full roster, removal of character collection.
-Overhauling the in-game lighting
-Overhauled music looping between stages, blended it a bit nicer.
-9 client cap on Perdition server added.
-Optimizations to the netcode so it should allow more people per server.
-Balance adjustments to story and arcade mode, mostly bullet speeds, it should be easier with some of the slower characters now.
-Zeke shooting buffs
-Abel reload buff now either flick or button press
-Streamlined story npc interactions.
-Lowered the visibility of Halloween update enemies to mostly VERY rare chance or Act 2 in story mode.
-And a bunch of smaller bug fixes...

Now there is a pretty good chance that there may be some introduced bugs since I have left it awhile since introducing new features, so if you find anything game breaking or just downright nasty, please post them here and I will quickly patch them out ASAP: http://steamcommunity.com/app/229810/discussions/0/361787186440675617/

Undeadorado Halloween Update is Live!

Oh no! Turns out the entire Wild West has been built over the top of a giant burial ground and the ancestors are pretty sore about the whole thing! As if Clayton Boon’s demonic henchmen weren’t trouble enough, you will now have to contend with angry ghosts, powerful spirit totems, hog-riding cultists and possessed chickens, in addition to new mounted enemies and who could forget super bears! Happy Halloween, pilgrims!

Undeadorado Halloween Update coming shortly!

Undeadorado Update will be dropping over the next week as it all gets cleared, changes and additions are as follows:

Spirit Totems- Will protect nearby enemies from damage.

Possessed Indians- As a result of a spirit totem, these enemies are invulnerable to your shots until your destroy the totem.

Bear Riders- First two stage enemy, you shoot the rider off and a bear will charge you afterward, will require some management so you don't agro all the bears at once.

Possessed Chickens- Fast moving creatures that leap toward you when they get close. They will occasionally spawn in packs.

Cultist Hog Riders- Similar to the bear riders, the hogs move around quite unpredictably and have a two stage approach also. Hogs also spawn separately in packs.

Spirits - Will appear to shoot and then fade out afterwards, you will have to do a lot of guess work to nail them down. They appear and reappear at random when they don't have you targeted.

Super Bears- Giant bears, will act as a tank for the bear horde, they will charge you within a set range, aside from that they are slow and lumbering, keep your distance and shoot. Standard bears will also have the charge mechanic added via the patch.

A pile of balance fixes are also going up over the Halloween period to address a few minor problems that have been on the fix list, mostly due to difficulty curve. If you notice any bugs with the new enemies or features shoot me a message or post on the forums, thanks!

Trouble Finding a Game?



Having trouble finding a game? Unfortunately the player base is quite slim right now, I am hoping that changes shortly. If you can move your games to Deadwater Server for the time being that would be great.

I have added a front end counter for the number of players currently either waiting or playing a game, hope that helps to find a co-op or versus friend!

491 Fixes



Hey guys and gals just a quick one, I have cleared most of the feedback and bugs from the forums in addition to a few other major showstoppers ( I am looking at you camera push in story mode! ) Here is the changelist for 491:

-Camera in storymode no longer pushes you around when vendors approach.
-Vendor approaching events have been reduced slightly also.

-Shotgunners no longer do crazy damage to bosses.
-Abel has had a damage buff.
-Pablo has had a damage decrease.

-Multiplayer sync issues with gun wagons and boxes and TNT barrels is now fixed.
-Velocity upgrade now works correctly.
-Booze is now destroyable in multiplayer.
-Horses have now be optimised online and no longer double up shadow sprites or legs.

-Joypad input now works for entering a name online.
-9 player name listing now works.


You will need to update your build or you will revert to offline mode which disallows highscores and online play, just a heads up!

Expect several smaller updates to clear up remaining issues, please report any bugs you find on the bugs forum and I shall fix them as fast as humanly possible, enjoy!

StoryMode Fixes and Changes!



A few days out from release, I have uploaded a build with considerable Storymode changes and fixes through the game, changes are as follows:

-Ace card gain in storymode is now much more predictable, I have removed a lot of the random elements and increased the starting card limit, in addition, 60% of the levels will now have safes with cards in them. I have also increased the card game price to play.

-Sheriff is now much less frequent as when you kill him it will remove your wanted level, there are only a few cases where he persists after you now, this should make him a little more forgiving over several levels.

-Skills are now purchased arcade style from a vendor rather than random drops, it has more calculation to it and overall it feels less random in building a character.

-Locations have been better signposted, neutral area signs and merchant areas are marked with midscreen events.

-Bear mode now has a better difficulty curve, arcade has changed slightly also. Act 1 and 2 of storymode have been made slightly easier.

-Character gain % has been increased as lots of people have reported the gain rate is painfully slow.

-Notable bugs include the two player storymode exit north bug that bricks the game and a host of smaller less obnoxious bugs, including fixing the doubling up of sound in certain areas.

New Achievements - Emoticons - Trading Cards - Server Loader



Quite a lot has changed in the last few days, Ive tightened up the server loading post event and server connection has now been streamlined, please use the default server toggle on the main menu to change servers. Story mode now has grading with spirit animals and achievements to match, so get to it you sexy eagles of the west.

The spirit animal unlocks will come into effect post release with the update that introduces them fully as a single player assist creature. I have also added 10 emoticons ( :acecard::bolivianbomb::confederateflag::firebooze::peacemaker::pinatabomb::samuraibanner::sovietflag::tntcrate::whitebooze: ) to the game and 11 Trading cards, as well as badges and backgrounds, so have fun unlocking!
