A Guidebook of Babel Closed Beta Test!
About our Game:
Rewrite the past and change the future! A Guidebook of Babel is a plot-driven adventure game with the unique "Butterfly Effect" mechanic.
Experience a fantastical afterlife journey, ride through monsoons in the belly of a puffer fish, and board a giant ship called Babel where the wishes and regrets of our travelers are intertwined.
Purpose of the Closed Beta Test:
We want to know your play experience, identify any potential issues, and address them to make our game even better.
A feedback survey will be sent out to everyone who participates in the closed beta test, and the results will be shared directly with the development team. Depending on your feedback, we may invite you to an in-depth 1-on-1 follow-up interview.
Participation Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Will need to sign an NDA
- Must test the game thoroughly and provide feedback via the survey
Application Period and Selection Announcement:
Complete this questionnaire by November 2 to submit your application. We will select the participants according to the information you fill in, and the results will be announced on November 4.
Test time:
November 5-November 11
Bonus:
- Everyone selected for the closed beta test will be added to the game's "Thank You" list
- Participants will be gifted with the official version of the game + OST + Artbook

Our Kickstarter Campaign is Finally LIVE!
Ding-dong——Greetings, passengers! This is a special announcement from the Babel. We have some big (really big!) news to share:
The Kickstarter campaign for A Guidebook to Babel has officially launched!
The Babel has been sailing the misty seas for quite a while now, but with land finally in sight the time has come to focus our attention on optimizing and polishing our beloved vessel, as well as recruiting additional crew members to provide a more comfortable boarding experience for our passengers. After careful consideration, we have officially launched our Kickstarter campaign to assist with this task!

Our aim is to utilize crowdfunding to introduce new players to the weird and wacky world of the Babel, while also also generating enough funds to ensure the independence of our crew (devs!) With your support, we can complete the development and optimization of all remaining content (polishing details, improving game performance, and squashing bugs), thereby enabling us to deliver the quality experience we originally envisioned when we first set out on this voyage.
We really appreciate your support, it means the world to us! No matter how you get involved, your support is sure to trigger a butterfly effect which will have a huge impact on the Babel!
In return, we've prepared a wide range of surprises for you! In our April update I proudly proclaimed how we'd be launching a Kickstarter campaign in May. Obviously, that didn't happen. It turns out we failed to notice the storm clouds on the horizon, and before we knew it we were navigating some pretty rough seas! But every cloud has a silver lining...stay tuned for further updates on this! (Follow our Kickstarter Page here)

I'd love to open with some friendly banter - but there's no time, dammit! I've got some big news to share, so buckle up...
Okay, where to start....... Dragons! Yes, always start with dragons...
We're taking part in Enter the Dragon, the steam event which officially got underway today (April 22 - 29). Enter the Dragon is a celebration of unique and interesting games from the Greater China region...and as developers based in Shanghai, that includes us!
As part of the event, we'll have the following:
- A demo of the game will be available during the event, and can be downloaded from our store page. The demo features two stages from the final game, so jump in and let us know what you think!
- We'll be hosting a gameplay livestream on April 24 at 21:00(EDT) over on the EtD page here: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/enterthedragon Please come join us!
