It's been a while since we brought you the Altar update, and, while we haven't stopped bringing you awesome events and celebrations, we've also been working very hard to be able to bring you a brand new patch with some special spooky features, just in time to celebrate the creepiest time of the year! Hope you like them!
Some issues we fixed!
Randomized gummies used to lose their cosmetics before the game, now they will stay glued on unless your gummy gets hit too hard.
Gummies' feet used to bug on BeeCareful tiles, stopping the floor from falling, but all gummies are now doomed to fall.
Scores for King of the Hill mode when playing online with 3 or more players showed the wrong number, for this patch we've learned to count.
After dying online in Grousky, controllers would keep vibrating even after the player's death, we've gone a more eco-friendly route and we've decided to make it stop, to save energy.
New additions to the game!
Bored of dying the first in every match and just watching? Don't worry! Enable the new option "Afterlife" in your match customization (local or private) and improve your abilities while your friends keep fighting for victory! After you die in a match, your gummy will still appear as a playable character in the map in the form of a ghost! Spook everyone with your abilities!
On another note, for those looking for a bigger challenge, how about using a ball or a barrel to get a point? Join a match in King of The Hill mode and throw one of the items into a marshmallow for a point, now with style!
Also, gummies' juices splattered onto cars will start falling slowly, instead of disappearing, little by little, for some dramatic added effects!
And, finally, a fun surprise: when an AI wins a match, if any cosmetics are left around the battlefield, it will try to pick them up and equip them!

The sweetest anniversary is here!
Saturday, 24th September is a day to celebrate in A Gummy's Life!
Even though the game was out earlier on Steam and Nintendo Switch, last year we launched A Gummy's Life on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, enabling cross-play between all of them! It's been a year since then and we've been sharing many memories and updates together!
In one year, we've released 4 updates, including: adding cosmetics to the game, 4 new maps, 2 new gummies, AIs learning to drive, full rework of the grabbing system, improvements in the UI to show more info about the game modes, customization of Private Online matches, pinging system to find yourself on the screen, and a whole new seasonal wardrobe change!
To commemorate such a milestone, we introduce you to: a weekend-long event! From Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th, join online matches in A Gummy's Life to celebrate with us and get those cosmetics you've been missing for so long!
Say hi to all of the limited-time and holiday cosmetics we've brought so far, cause they are back! When we originally released these items, we did so for no longer than a week, to enjoy holidays and festivities in a different way. Now, we’ve decided to bring them back once more so you all have the opportunity to get them!
Plus, a party would not be a party if not for some pixel sunglasses and party hats! Since we knew they were pretty loved and give off party vibes like no other in-game item, we thought that they were the perfect fit for this kind of celebration, so, for a few days, they’ll be available again to unlock.
Finally, a completely new and special cosmetic is waiting for you: a royal crown! Flaunt the shiniest of looks in the most amazing way to show that you got to celebrate this first anniversary! And, who knows? Maybe in a few years you can also use it to prove how long you've been with us!
We're quite a tiny team and don't get many opportunities to say Thank you, so hope you feel this event as a warm hug from us to our lovely community.

Even after the latest upgrade of the whole cosmetic line in the game, we know players are still hungry for some new looks. And what better reason to upgrade player's closets, now that July's here, than celebrating Independence Day with a very patriotic look!

A whole new closet available!
Looking to renew your wardrobe this spring?
We're bringing you the best new looks of the season with a cosmetic update! With a whole new set of hats and glasses to start unlocking as soon as you log into the game, you will be the most fashionable on your way to victory!
As for the hats and glasses that you already had from the first batch of items, worry not! They will remain in your inventory, but there’s a catch! The first season is over, which means that all the cosmetics that you have not gotten already can’t be unlocked anymore. Sorry.(or can they?)
That being said: the time to show off has come! Parade your old collection now that it is no longer available and start collecting as many pieces as you can from the new one: be sure not to miss out while you still can!
Now, the way to get the new hats and glasses available remains unchanged from old ways, but a small reminder for anyone who might feel lost!:
Join a game in online matchmaking, where you'll be paired with random players available at the moment
Enjoy your game until the end (we recommend you try to win)
As soon as you finish your game, you’ll receive a mystery present
Upon opening it, you'll find a random cosmetic, assigned to a random gummy!
So, if you want to get every single new look for every gummy, you'd better get playing.

After a lot of feedback from you guys, we've realized that many players find themselves not knowing how to do some of the coolest stuff from the game, and since we don't want anybody to miss out, we've decided to start a tutorial series over on our YouTube channel!

A Gummy's Life is taking part in this year's remote play together once again!
A Gummy's life is a brawler-type game where you'll be fighting other gummies for the win. The game offers a great variety of maps, each of them with their own special characteristics, and many hazards on your way to victory, so be careful! You can also choose and customize your character to your liking, and take it to battle in any of the 4 different game modes available.
If you're in the mood of playing by yourself, you can try online matchmaking or play locally against AI's with different levels of difficulty, but if you want to play with friends, you can choose to play local multiplayer or try private online matches, whatever best suits your needs, especially now that our most recent update offers the possibility to customize private online matches with almost as much freedom as local multiplayer.
When playing online, the game also supports crossplay, so you can share the game with anyone, no matter where they play. It also supports up to eight players per game, so nobody gets left out!
Lastly if you play on pc, no matter if you’d rather play with your keyboard or your controller, the game supports both mediums, so choose your weapon wisely. Create the perfect strategy to win, or smash buttons on your way to victory and prove once and for all that you are the strongest player!
