Hey folks, Here is another hotfix to address some features that weren't working as they should
Bug Fixes
Toggling Automatic Harvesting at the eligible vendors will now persist between saving & loading the game.
Fixed a Bug With the "Trading Tycoon" Achievement not being awarded to players retroactively when loading a game that was started before the achievement was introduced.

Hey folks, I'm releasing a small hotfix to address some of the issues that appeared with version 1.2 that released earlier today.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue preventing players from adding templates to the recently added classes.
Fixed a bug that was causing the Classes for templates to show in the same manner as it did in the previous version of this patch.

A Hero's Rest Celebrates the Holidays with Patch 1.2
Greetings, Town Managers!
The holidays are upon us, and we're bringing gifts to A Hero's Rest! We're thrilled to announce the release of Patch 1.2, packed with new features, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes to enhance your town-building experience.
But that's not all! From December 22nd to January 5th, 2025, players can unlock unique, limited-time seasonal decorations to deck their towns with festive cheer. And to top it off, A Hero's Rest will be available at a 35% discount during this period, making it the perfect time to embark on your own RPG town-building adventure!

New Features:
Increased Maximum Active Classes:
The total number of active classes has been increased to 10 up from 8 when the Training Grounds are built.
This provides greater creative freedom when designing your unique classes.
Improved Production Farms:
Vendors can now not only restock but also harvest ready Production Farms.
A new "Automatically Harvest & Restock" option has been added to the vendor details panel. Enabling this will make vendors automatically harvest and restock farms.
Vendors will only perform these actions if sufficient gold and resources are available.
Because these actions take time, consider adding more displays or vendor counters to keep customers occupied while vendors are busy.
Holiday Event (December 22nd, 2024 - January 5th, 2025):
Log in during the holiday period to permanently unlock exclusive seasonal decorations for your town!
Changes & Improvements:
The display of lifetime profit in the details menu now supports values in the millions.
Improved the way Template items display the classes that are using them in the inventory.
Optimized pathfinding for heroes within the town.
Improved Loading of Textures for Item Displays.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where heroes would sometimes get stuck sitting.
Resolved a bug that caused incorrect item prices to be displayed in certain shops.
Fixed a rare crash that could occur when rapidly switching between town menus.

A Hero's Rest: Patch 1.1
Greetings honoured Proprietors!
With the release of Patch 1.1, A Hero's Rest takes another step forward. This update introduces new features, essential improvements, and bug fixes to enhance your gameplay experience.
Here are the detailed patch notes:
Swift Travel:
A new fast travel option to the Training Grounds has been added for quick and convenient access.
This feature allows players to quickly return to the Training Grounds for class training and upgrades, saving valuable time.
The fast travel option can be accessed through the in-game menu.
Template Improvements:
Items with templates will now display compatible classes directly in the inventory, making item management easier.
Templates that have unassigned classes, can now be removed directly from the inventory, providing more control over your items.
Endless Quests:
A new Mutator was added to allow an unlimited amount of daily quests to be set.
This Mutator will also make Daily Quests available from the beginning of the game.
Changes and Improvements
Raiding Heroes will now attempt to purchase potions from the Apothecary before leaving on a raid but won't suffer morale penalties if there are none available.
Stockpile Adjustments:
Small Stockpiles: Capacity reduced to 10 items.
Medium Stockpiles: Wood cost increased.
Large Stockpiles: Capacity increased to 60 items, wood cost increased.
Favorite Heroes' arrivals will now be marked with a distinctive color for better visibility.
Legacy classes will be automatically removed from active templates to avoid unwanted behaviour.
Bug Fixes
A typo in the Raid Menu has been corrected.
Fixed an issue that could prevent Heroes from turning in completed raids.
Various typos in notifications have been fixed.

Hello everyone, the Release of the game has been absolutely amazing and we are humbled by the amount of feedback we received and are glad to hear that you are enjoying the game, Thank you!
I wanted to make sure to also address some of the feedback we received, especially regarding the build mode, so here's a small but important hotfix for patch 1.0.
New Features & Highlights
Reworked Building System
The building system has been adjusted based on community feedback.
Buildable Objects like floors & walls, can no longer be clicked outside of Build Mode.
Interactable objects (like Workstations or Farms) remain clickable.
A new "Legacy Build Mode" option has been added to the Settings menu.
Legacy Build Mode reverts the changes made in this patch and allows for the old building behaviour.
Changes & Improvements
The cost of creating new classes now includes the cost for the class's first proficiency.
Increased the speed at which the player enters craft mode at modular stations when using the "No Zoom to Stations" Setting.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with the Free Class Creation Cost Mutator that incorrectly checked for sufficient gold and tokens.

New Class Attribute: Wisdom
The new Wisdom attribute allows Heroes to cast powerful healing spells, providing essential support to your team.
The Wisdom Stat replaces the Magic Stat in items, offering new possibilities for character builds.
Wisdom heroes can use "Mending Hands" to restore the Health and Mana of allied Heroes in town, boosting their challenge rating at the cost of their own.
Wisdom Heroes are invaluable in raid parties, providing critical support and improving your success chances.
Experience a unique set of animations and spells designed specifically for Wisdom Heroes.
Improve your Heroes' Growth
New Specialization: Weapon Master
The Weapon Master now features a Specialization menu with 12 new perks to bolster your Heroes' prowess even further.
The specialization menu is unlocked once the player builds the Training Grounds.
The Specialization menu can be accessed through the normal Weapon Master Menu, a new button has been added to facilitate that.
Unlike the other stations the Weapon Master perk tiers are unlocked by the current amount of active classes at the weapon master (they don't necessarily need to be actively recruiting).
The perks will stay active once selected even if the player removes some of his current classes. Resetting the perk tree will require the player to re-establish active classes to unlock their corresponding perk tier.
If the player removes the Training Grounds Station, all its perk effects will be removed and restored once the player chooses to rebuild the station.
A new Mutator has been added to allow the player to make the cost of training New Classes Free.
A Growing Hero Population
Increased Hero Population Cap: Expand Your Roster
Choose your challenge and manage from 50, up to 120 Heroes for a more complex and rewarding experience.
This experimental feature offers a new level of challenge and strategic depth but may have some performance implications in lower-end systems.
New Combat Animations & Customization
Enjoy over 60 new combat animations, including a remake of two-handed sword animations, new attacks for staff users, and more.
Watch your Heroes grow stronger and more confident as their Combat Rating improves.
5 new class badges have been added to further customize your Heroes' Classes.
New Milestones and Objectives
Embark on new Challenges
Complete 12 new milestones and their corresponding achievements.
Enjoy a wider variety of objectives as you progress through the game.
Note: New milestones are not retroactive, so you may need to complete their objective again (if you already have) to unlock them.

Map Enhancements
Improved aesthetics and navigation on various maps.
The "A New Beginning" map received a major overhaul, with a focus on improving the town center and overall visual appeal.
Added wooden fences to paths in Mountain Pass for improved aesthetics.
Changed the Resources Notification from collecting resources from trees around the maps to make it easier to see.
Crafter Balance
Reduced the effects of the Transmutation Cost Mutator under the "High" Setting as it made transmutation way too expensive.
Balanced crafting costs for T2, T3, and T4 Cloth, Medium, and Heavy Armors.
Crafters will now grant increasing Royalty Tokens rewards when leveling up, as the Item Tier increases.
Added a new Button to access the quest log to the Quest Crafting Menu.
Crafter Perks
Reverted the Apothecary Distillery to being a unique Item in your Shop, Instead it now provides between 1-3 Potions on each activation.
Removed the Apothecary's Perk "Infused Orb" and replaced it with stronger counterparts now being Tier 2 & 3 Perks.
Removed the Apothecary's Perk "Jewelcrafting" and replaced it with stronger counterparts now being Tier 2 & 3 Perks.
Added a new Tier 4 Apothecary Perk "Potion Master" to increase the amount of potions received from the Distillery.
Added a new Tier 4 Apothecary Perk "Genetic Engineering" to increase the Effect of Compost by 20%.
Removed the Tailor's perk "Crystalized Dragon Essence" and replaced it with "Master Weaver" to increase the efficiency of the Spinning Frame by 20%.
Removed the Tanner's perk "Crystalized Dragon Essence" and replaced it with "Hide Expert" to increase the efficiency of the Leather Soaking Tub by 20%.
Increased the effect of the Blacksmith's perk "Miner's Diary" from 15% to 20%.
Increased the effect of the Woodworker's perk "Reforestation" from 15% to 20%.
Crafter Upgrades
All Tier 2 Upgrades related to visitors now require an additional workstation to unlock.
Other Changes
Selecting a Difficulty in the mutator's Menu will automatically select a preset of settings for that difficulty, which can, of course, be further customized.
All existing games will show as Custom Difficulty and will keep whatever settings they had.
Improved Hit Detection in various interactable Upgrades.

Added Tooltips to the sort buttons in the Inventory Menu.

When selecting an object that can be interacted by Heroes/Visitors, new visual indications will show if the item is accessible to them.
You can now switch the Recruiting State of classes straight from the Weapon Maseter's Menu, an improved Class Button provides greater information on each class.
The Invocation Stage no longer requires the "Woodworker Station" to build, but instead requires 4 active classes.
Added tooltips for the resources requested in the Royal Request Order.
