The whole team is excited for everyone to play our narrative space opera game. It was fully funded on Kickstarter in 2021, and we sincerely thank our backers and all those who supported our game throughout the development process.

A Long Journey to An Uncertain End centers around your character escaping an abusive relationship with a past partner. Your ex (for whom you can choose a name and pronouns in-game) is pursuing you across the galaxy. If they catch up with you, the game ends.
While no specifics are discussed about your past relationship with this person, it is clear that they were controlling and possibly even violent. In the game, they are actively stalking the protagonist with malicious intent, and will attempt to hack into their systems in a form of mind control or manipulation.
A new crew member joins the team: Kamaria, the truth seeker!
Hello starlight dreamers and extraterrestrial explorers! We have an exciting announcement to make! A new crew member has joined our Long Journey! We are pleased to introduce to you our truth seeker: Kamaria (she/they).
Kamaria Jelani is a descendant of the original Terraformer Dynasties, a slightly mythical history of being born of and coming from the stars. Despite her lofty origins and the expectations that come with them - specifically to lead - Kamaria is instead focused on and inspired by writing. Unfortunately, her passion is not only unappreciated but actively ridiculed by her parents. Her inherent charm and inquisitive nature lend themselves well to pursuits of journalism Will Kamaria find the truth she is seeking for?

A new crew member joins the team: B.R.D., the forgotten outcast!
Hello starlight dreamers and extraterrestrial explorers! We have an exciting announcement to make! A new crew member has joined our Long Journey! We are pleased to introduce to you our forgotten outcast: B.R.D (they/them)!
B.R.D.-087- or as they would like to be known, “Bird”- was a Beta Reconnaissance Drone who crafted a robot body for themselves out of their former ship self. Swathed in clothes that make them relatively unidentifiable but for their massive size, B.R.D. could be taken for a human at a distance, but up close there’s no mistaking their mechanical appearance. As a fellow sentient A.I., will you be able to bond with B.R.D? Or maybe, you’ll find their fiercely self-sufficient personality and bluntness difficult to deal with. Either way, there’s much to learn about B.R.D. Hopefully, you’ll let them join your cosmic adventure.

Steam Next Fest is Over... But the demo is still live for one more day!
Hey, intergalactic travelers! We had a blast at Steam Next Fest! Thanks to everyone that joined us during our live streams! We hope you enjoyed tuning in with our devs played the demo and gave us an interesting look behind the scenes!

Hey, there! It’s been a while since our last update. We are still on our Long Journey of development. Thanks to everyone that is anticipating our game! You are the main reason we keep going every day! During these months, we've continued working through the demo feedback to see what features can be updated or included for the final release. We are also very excited to announce that we are currently voice-recording emotes for the game!
In other development news, we’re implementing more beautiful art assets into Long Journey. Our crew is working hard to put in new animations to bring our leads system to life. These animations not only help bring the crew to life but also provide a little context to exactly what story elements you’re discovering as you get leads on other planetary work!
On the production side, we’re happy to announce that we are waiting to receive a tidal wave of C.O.R.G.I. plushies! This is a reward that Kickstarter backers starting on the C.O.R.G.I. tier will be getting!

Apologies to those who tried the demo update! Unbeknownst to us, C.O.R.G.I. had mistaken a few files for a new chew toy. We got em' back for a minor update that ensures you can now...you know...play the demo.
