- We have spent sometime completely building this update from the ground up bringing you guys a more fleshed out experience & cleaner design with lots of room for future updates.

- With the new workers update you guys can build up your mining team & earn plenty of AFK income.
Research
- Our new research system will allow you to further your game progress & increase your numbers. They take time & resources so make sure to stock up scientist. Here are some of the starting researches:
Worker OPM - Increases overall performance of your workers
Storage - Increases the max storage level for your upgrades
Efficiency - Increases amount of ores mined with your pickaxe

Development Update: Arcadius
Whats going on?
Arcadius is the upcoming update for A Mining Game it is a completely new experience. A new game if you will, Arcadius turns the base mechanics of A Mining Game into a fully-fledged 3D Social Mining Simulator.
When is the release date?
There is no known release date. Discord members however can play the private alpha on steam.

A Mining Game & Its future
Greetings everyone,
A Mining Game as many of you know has been in limbo for some time with updates being non-existent. AMG was released as a free hobby project inspired by the original browser version. which has been very outdated. A Mining Game is something that has a special place in our hearts but we feel as we are limited by the ideas of the old game loop and 2d element. There has been no drive or funding for AMG to stay updated, So as of today we are announcing that we are discontinuing the game. Servers will stay online however and you will still be able to enjoy the current content.
The Future
With that being said we are passionate about the general Resource gathering element of A Mining Game and Game Development in general so there is some good news we are working on Arcadius: A Mining Game which is a 3d Iteration of AMG it will be Massively Multiplayer with Mining and puzzle aspects. Content Update 0.3
New UI / Icons
A much needed reskin and UI system will be available with this content update. This brings a fresh new look to the game, The UI will allow for a less cluttered screen! In addition to the new UI layout, we have added new Icons and sprites for Pickaxes, Ores & User Icons. They go for a more pixelated look done by Luic.
Research 1.0
The new research system is meant to be more "involved". Unlock research by upgrading the research center, Instead of spending money for researches you now spend a new currency called "RP" (Research Points). This can be obtained by purchasing scientist for RP (You are given 1 to start with) the more scientists you get the more RP you will gain per 30 seconds. Right now there are not many types of research but that will change as we add more weekly!
Adventure 1.0
The new adventure systems allow players to take their army along a storyline type of adventure, The further you get the harder it will be. Adventures will allow you to find new content and secrets. Right now it is minimal but eventually, we will add events, Weekly, and daily adventures.
