Oaks and birches can now host beehives if there are flowers nearby.
Hives spawn primarily in forest and dark forest biomes.
Hives can break when "shaking" the tree and will drop a honeycomb.
Broken hives regenerate after some time.
Copper ore drops have been moved from regular stones to the new copper ore vein stones. Copper ore veins spawn in hills biomes.
Stones drop less flints.
Player character eye color is now more recognizable.

The new home totem allows you to freely choose the respawn point and displays it on the map.

The first two weeks after the release are planned as bugfixing and usability phase. The first small bugfix was just released and includes the changes listed below. Further small usability adjustments are planned for the coming days.

Day One "Patch"
Unfortunately, the launch of the game went so well that there were no problems worth mentioning that would make a real Day One Patch necessary. However, since AAA studios regularly show us that a Day One Patch is "good manners" of a game release, I prepared a Day One "patch" even before the release. You will simply get an increased bug version, so it doesn't look like the project has already been abandoned!
All streamers should therefore download the patch of 950 kB early to have the game ready to play again in time for the stream.
In today's release stream, the green button was pressed and the game was finally let out into the long-awaited Early Access phase. It has been a long but very cool road until this day. The game was created virtually 100% live in the Twitch stream and will continue to be developed there during the Early Access phase.
In total, there are already over 2,500 hours of work in the project, 40,000 lines of code were written and the world comes to life with 6,700 sprites and 600 animation sheets.
In the coming weeks and months we will work on usability optimizations, bugfixes, the story intro and features like the day-night-cycle.

Early Access Release
The new year begins and with it the Early Access release date for A World of Little Legends is finally set!
It was important to me from the beginning to only start in the Early Access, when all features which I consider important for it are included. In the last weeks and months we were able to make a lot of progress in the gamedev streams and therefore we could move into the testing and polishing phase earlier than expected.
Since it's important not to release during a Steam Fest, we're avoiding the fest at the end of February and launching directly the day after, March 1st!
Almost two years after starting the project, I'm very excited and also a little bit nervous about my first big game release, even though I've already developed and published several games over the years. However, A World of Little Legends is a very special project for me and therefore a big thank you goes to all the viewers of the stream who directly or indirectly support me in making this dream come true.
