Patch 1.02 + Multi Language

Hello everyone,

today we will release Update 1.02 for Absinth. After watching all videos out there made by all gamers on Twitch or Youtube, we decided for following changes:

- Mutli Language System with 3 starting languages English, German, Chinese
- Changed few important things in Act II:
- You can not pass the Checkpoint House without getting the master key to this house
- You can not pass the Checkpoint House without deactivating the AR Interference Signal
- You can die from normal enemies
- The enemies in Act II are triggered differently than before
- added new flame lights to altar and church
- Fixed reported colider bugs and other type of bugs (there were quiet a lot)

German language support now

We updated Absinth for german players to support also german subtitles and german content inside the game.

Patch 1.01 is live

Hello, everyone! We´re happy to announce that Patch 1.01 is live now!


Patch Notes:

  • The note in the interrogation rooms seemed to confuse people, they tried to use those numbers as the pin for the door in the same room => solved
  • We found an issue in the English subtitles => fixed
  • There was a collider issue in one toilet in Act I => fixed
  • There was a collider issue around the lake in Act II => fixed
  • Few sounds get played again after there were already played => fixed
  • The second password pin field is difficult to interact with => fixed
  • The maps will show more important information => added
  • You will need a specific distance to the enemy to hide in Act I otherwise you simply can't. => fixed
  • You will get displayed a text message, that there is an interference signal active in Act II until you deactivate it. => added
  • You get a message displayed in-game that you should check your web browser when interacting with the Laptop => added
  • Generators in Act I will get a red light signal (for being off) because many were not able to see them in the dark => added
  • The enemy in Act I stucks sometimes (were called "dancing move") => fixed
  • The enemy in Act II stuck sometimes => fixed
  • Some other system internal things which will improve the experience generally

Hello again, we discovered some issues related to changes made in 1.01. We will upload a hotfix in the next 12h.

Issue:
- New AI improvements made 2 stuck in some places
- Text issue found
- When you use the Laptop you can't click on the menu buttons => You have to press [ESC] instead
- Same issue as above but this time when you activate the AR glasses

Hello everyone, after watching all gameplays we were able to find over the weekend, we will release before Halloween Patch 1.01f, which will tackle some basic topics:

Absinth Official Release - Patch Notes

Hello everyone,



we have awesome news to share with you today! We´re happy to announce that the final version of Absinth will be available today at 5 pm EST as planned!

We would like to thank everyone who supported us all the time especially our Community on Discord, our families, and also everyone who played on any Streaming platform. We really enjoyed all the gameplay videos (yes we saw all of them!).

For our final release, we can´t actually list the Patch notes 1:1 as we made so many changes that it became impossible for us to track all of them. Alternatively, we would like to show you the most important changes.

Patch notes for v1.0f :


- Added new Post Processing effects: Ambient Occlusion, Depth of field, Motion Blur, Eye Adaption, Bloom, and Screen space reflection
- Redesign of Level Act I,
- Redesign of Level Act II,
- Redesign of Quests,
- Redesign of Events,
- Redesign of UI,
- Improved the AI algorithm,
- Added subtitles for EN,
- Added new events,
- Improved performance generally,
- Added new voice-overs
- and solved also a lot of bugs of any kind.

To give you an imagination of how many different changes we made, we can tell you that we made since our last update 250 new pushes to our GIT where at least 3 but mostly more than 10 things have been changed in one push.
