If you have some extra time this Thursday (4/6) head over to Twitch to watch the 2017 BAFTA awards live throughout the day. ABZÛ is nominated for "Best Music" and "Artistic Achievement" this year. To watch on Twitch just go to the BAFTA Twitch Channel beginning 8:30AM PST, or 4:30PM BST. In addition, 505 Games will be live streaming some behind the scenes from their Facebook page during the ceremony beginning 10:00AM, or 6:00PM BST.

ABZU soundtrack available on Steam, FRIDAY 2/3/17!
Happy Wednesday Divers!
As we mentioned yesterday we had something cool coming and here it is, the music of ABZÛ will be available on Steam starting Friday, February 3rd! And to add more good news to the mix, Austin Wintory, the composer for all our music, has been nominated for “Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition” in the 20th Annual D.I.C.E. awards! The winners will be announced on February 23, 2017, so stay tuned, we are really pulling for Austin to win.
Just a few factoids about the music…
- Austin used 7 harpists during one recording session in London.
- He conducted the world-famous Nashville Scoring Orchestra at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, TN. The orchestra has also recorded the music for games such as The Last of Us, Call of Duty, Star Wars – The Old Republic, Knights of the Eternal Throne, and Ori and the Blind Forest.
- In London, he recorded in the Lyndhurst Hall (AIR Studios), was designed in 1880 by the great Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse (designer of the Natural History Museum).
To celebrate the soundtrack release we will be discounting the game by 50% on Steam through the weekend (2/3-2/6), so if you haven’t purchased yet, this is a great chance to get the game and the album together. We know a lot of you have asked for the soundtrack to be available, and we hope you will enjoy the soundtrack in your daily lives.

ABZÛ Community Member of the Month: FURIEL ✦ STARCHILD
Capturing screenshots and in-game animations have become a standard go-to for us as we play the games we love so we are creating the “ABZÛ Community Member of the Month” to make sure you all get the recognition you deserve! There have been so many great screenshots that we thought it would be a good idea to have a screenshot contest where YOU decide the winner. Create and post a screenshot on October 16, 2016 and the image that gets the most thumbs up will win a $10 Steam Gift Card. The rules are pretty simple:
1. Only submissions dated 10/16/16 will be accepted.
2. The image must include #ScreenshotSunday in the description.
3. You must have a valid email address.
4. The screenshot with the most thumbs up wins, and in the event of a tie, we will choose between the top choices.
5. A Steam card in the value of $10 will be emailed to the winner.
Otherwise, that is it! After you post your screenshot make sure you get out the vote so that you have the best chance to win. We’ll tally the votes on Monday, October 17th and announce the winner once we are done.
