Beta Update 4

Support for NVIDIA Ansel has been added to the beta branch; for now, you have to manually whitelist Across if you want to use it ; you have to launch a command that looks like that : “C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools\CameraEnable.exe whitelisting-everything”



Here is the full changelog :
+ Ansel support
+ You can pause the game by pressing both grip buttons; this turn also the stero mode off, allowing Ansel to be launched (ALT+F2)
+ Multiple performance enhancement in menu and loading process
+ Credit level is now accessible from the menu after level 25 has been completed.
+ More bears added to Credit level

Update 1

Across has been updated to UE 4.14 ! This brings a bump in graphical quality for all settings.
Here is the detailed changelog, cumulative with the Beta Update changelog.

+ Enhanced graphical quality in many levels
+ Most levels are now a little brighter than before
+ Multiple bug corrections, in particular regarding loading/unloading levels
+ Low graphism now disable some particle effects that were too costly
+ Changed the music of level 25

Beta Update 3

Across has now a public beta branch ! You can access it by right-clicking on the game, going to properties and selecting the beta branch.

+ desactivated anti-aliasing on "high" mode
+ added "ultra" option with x1.5 supersampling : it looks so good !

+ Option for low graphic - should ease framerates on specs below gtx 970, mainly by disabling the fur plugin.
+ Saves are now on Steam cloud.

Beta Update 1

Across is now in Beta !

Thanks to feedbacks from the first beta testers, I have released today a first small update, that focuses on a few options on the main screen.

+ Added an option for turning on and off the music
+ The lasers emited from the katana have now the color of the katana by default
+ Added explanations in the loading screen for going back to menu
+ Changed some text in the tutorial
+ Added an Exit button as a workaround for a bug in UE4.13 : the application does not qui when exiting through the steamVR interface

For this last bug, I am working on a solution, but I may have to wait to update to UE4.14, where this specific bug is marked as resolved.
