The Lunar New Year of the Snake is here and to celebrate we’ve brought back Lunar New Year activities for the Battleon Social District with a new mini collection featuring six serpent-themed weapons, an earnable set of daggers from Saber, a travel form, and more!
This update will also bring with it a new questline. Discover the Fruitwood Serpent within the Fruitwood Thicket located on the Yokai Isles and help her and you will earn the Fruitwood Hatchling pet.

Legacy of Sir Lanceler Questline Release
This week marks the release of the long-anticipated Legacy of Sir Lanceler Questline. Head over to the Battleon Scholar District and initiate the quest by speaking with Roderick Lanceler. Prove your worth through a series of trials set by Sir Arthur Lanceler. I sincerely hope you enjoy this questline, which was crafted with love and inspired by the original AdventureQuest.
The Vorpal Blade & More
By the end of this questline, you will earn the fabled Vorpal Blade, the weapon of Sir Lanceler! Though powerful in its stats, you may notice it currently lacks any special effects. Hold on to it for future updates. Completing the quests also unlocks a new housing shop featuring long-requested items.

The Archivist, Part 2
In an ongoing effort to change the experience and smooth over earlier portions of the game, we’ve added a second part to the Archivist questline which will reward the player with a level 34 headpiece item. Head on over to Arcangrove’s Library to begin the Archivist questline.
Changes to Sanrick
Sir Sanrick’s loop has had some changes made to it. We’ve increased the gold income from the quest and the map you fight Sanrick in now automatically closes after his defeat. Beyond that we’ve also added some new rewards to Sanrick. 2 new statues and a title join the roster of items you can earn from the speedy Knight. Additionally, we’ve increased the stats on the Scared Wind Helmet and Pauldrons.

🤩 Unlock the Speed of the Sacred Wind!
Sir Sanrick, Knight of the Sacred Wind
This week, AdventureQuest 3D welcomes a new NPC that will add a layer to the Daily Boss Zones. Sir Sanrick the Fast, Knight of the Sacred Wind can be found training his speed within the Battleon Scholar district. If you can catch him you’ll be able to ask him how he’s so fast. Turns out it’s a combination of training and his magical armor that is powered by the 7 Order Gemeralds!
Armaments of the Sacred Wind
Sir Sanrick will explain how to create armor like his using the 7 Order Gemeralds. For those of you who are level 50, you’ll find Sacred Rings now drop within the Daily Boss zones. Once you collect 100 of them you will be able to spar with Sanrick to make an Order Gemerald appear! Upon collecting 7 of them, you will be able to combine their powers to create an Armament of the Sacred Wind of your choice.
New Spellforged Boots: Greaves of the Sacred Wind
While all of the Armaments of the Sacred Wind are level 50 Epic quality gear the boots specifically are Spellforged. Their effect? 25% chance on hit to gain a 60% movement speed for 5 seconds. Hopefully, you enjoy zooming through the battlefield!
Last Chance for Frozen Doom Weapons
While the Frozen Doom Weapon Mini Collection has left there is still a chance to buy them individually this week before they leave.
Removing Spellforged Effects From Scaled PVP
No date to confirm yet, however, we will be working on disabling Spellforged effects for scaled PVP with the goal of possibly introducing an unscaled PVP mode at a later date.

The AQ3D team has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to be able to finally get the first Mounts into the game! There were a lot of technical concerns that had to be addressed and functionality and support which had to be built, but we are hoping that players will be excited by this new feature!

New Upgrades for Doom Weapons
The ShadowReaper of Doom has received a powerful new upgrade! This upgrade grants it a Spellforged effect and brings it up to level 50, making it even more formidable in battle.
Spellforged - Doomsunder: 25% chance to do 25% damage and -10% armor for 4 sec to enemy
Spellforged Passive - DOOOOM!: +10% to Attack -20% to Max HP
The Necrotic Staff of Doom also gets a new upgrade, giving it a Spellforged effect and bringing it up to level 50. Additionally, the model of the Necrotic Staff of Doom at max level has been updated to align with the newer Doom Weapons.
Spellforged - Doomclaw: 10% chance to Burn enemy for 50% attack over 4 sec and slow for 80% for 3 sec
Spellforged Passive - DOOOOM!: +10% to Attack -20% to Max HP
To gain access to the new Doom Weapon upgrades, you must seek out the Mysterious Stranger within the Isle of the Dead. He holds the key to unlocking the true potential of these powerful weapons.

Cyber Monday Tech Items
I’ve seen a lot of talk in the community about wanting some tech stuff for housing on Cyber Monday. Unfortunately… I didn’t really see the need until it was a little late to get it made for our Black Friday / Cyber Monday release last week. However, better late than never! I present to you the PALADIN line of Gaming PCs with some racer-style chairs and monitors! Talk to BattleTron in Battleon to get access to this shop.
Ballroom Organs (Music Included)
This seems to be a release full of player-requested items haha. So! The official Artix Games Discord is full of requests and unfortunately, we can’t get to all of them. However, that’s not the case for these spiffy Ballroom Organs. Jongaar has hooked these bad boys up with the soundtracks from the Ballroom Masquerade Event from a few Mogloweens ago. So go on! Make your own Ballroom Brawl with these tracks.
Giant Bat Travel Form
The final of our trio of player-requested items that made their way into this release is the Giant Bat Travel Form. We should have done this long ago with the amount of bat-fans that are out there. Perfect for any Vampire and accessible via the Shops button (That little treasure chest button on your screen!) If you go to the new Dragon Crystal shop you should see a section for Travel Forms.
Server Boost Upgraded!
We've brought the server boost back. That sets XP and CXP gains to 150% and we've added an addition the will allow players to gain double the rewards from daily quests!
