The Blackthorn Fleet Seek Revenge On The Midori Kage Clan
The winds of war blow once again across Lore. A tale of revenge and duty is about to unfold. The Blackthorn Fleet, a group of fierce pirates led by Captain Mordred Blackthorn, demands the head of Master Kurohane, the leader of the Midori Kage ninja clan, to avenge the death of Mordredās only son, Arthur Blackthorn. With tensions higher than ever, a mysterious voice calls to Mordred, offering a chance to avenge his son by summoning him to the Island of Titans with promises of power. Unbeknownst to him, Ninja Master Kurohane is also heeding a similar call, one that warns of a calamity threatening his clan but offers a way to prevent it. Itās time to pick a side, brave hero of Lore. Travel to the Island of Titans and fight for the cause you believe in!
The Blackthorn Fleet
The Blackthorn Fleet is a formidable group of pirates feared by the people of Lolosia. They believe in a life of freedom, unshackled by societyās rules, as free as the wind that blows across the ocean. Unfortunately for those around them, this means they steal and do as they please.
The Midori Kage Clan
A secretive ninja clan with a long history, the Midori Kage have outposts across the Mysterious Islands. Over the years, they have accumulated many valuable treasures and relics. The Midori Kage value tradition and honor and do not take kindly to outsiders trespassing in their territory.
War Has Changed
The AdventureQuest 3D war system has been completely revamped. Previously, you had to turn in quests to gain progress for the war meter, with all quests counting for the same amount of progress. Now, you can gain progress for your factionās war meter through various means. Killing monsters, summoning additional troops, and even repairing structures can all contribute to filling up the meter and can be worth different amounts. Additionally, for this war, we are experimenting with a dual storyline, updating the story of the ongoing conflict weekly, so donāt forget to check back!
Spawn Reinforcements
By completing quests, defeating enemy units, and fishing, you can gather materials to turn in with your factionās NPCs in exchange for items to spawn the reinforcements of your choice.
Rewards!
As the war meter fills up for your faction, you will be able to earn more rewards, including pets, travel forms, armors, and weapons. This time, the items you can unlock are themed around the specific faction you are fighting for.
Returning Content
With it being Friday the 13th Camp Gonnagetcha has opened up once more! Head on over to Yulgarās Inn and speak to Dottie, the High Archcounseler to book your trip to Campe Gonnagetcha while itās still open.

An Evolving Conflictā¦
Next week, the war continues with an expanding plot unique to both factions. And of course, the Talk Like a Pirate Day collection will arrive! This collection will be themed around the war and feature two new class skins: the Doom Pirate and the Doom Ninja.

A strangeā¦ person?... has shown up in the town of Battleon this week. If you head over to the Barber Shop you will find Hatrick, the Man of Hats. Hatrick, as you might guess really enjoys hats. Heās obsessed with them in fact. He travels the land in search of rare hats to add to his hat collection, however. This time he needs your help to obtain a hat. Travel to the Hat Tomb and grab it for him. Obviously, this is a simple task for a hero such as yourself.
Collect Hats
Once youāve helped Hatrick out a little youāll be able to obtain hats from him and.. Horns? Hat-ornsā¦? Collect Powerful Hat Essence from all monsters in the zones. You can also earn Powerful Hat Essence by running the 3 Daily Quests that Hatrick will have available to help you along the way.
Travel Forms and Pets?!
Hatrick also has Travel Forms and Pets?!ā¦ They wear hats so no rules are being broken with this theme!
Class Balance Changes
In our ongoing effort to tune classes and put more fun and power in the hands of the player, weāve made some changes to both the Pirate and Ninja classes, giving them some AoE.
Pirate: Flak Shot is now an AoE
Ninja: Both Slashing Gale and Fire Strike are now AoEs

Prepare For Warā¦
Next week the Pirate vs Ninja war begins! Weāve been working hard behind the scenes to create a new war using feedback from the Invasion From the Deep. One of these changes is how the War Meter is progressed. Originally, you would only get a set amount from turning in a questā¦ Any quest. Weāve worked hard to change that system to allow you to earn varying amounts of progress so harder quests will fill the meter faster. But, it doesnāt stop there! These updates to the war system go beyond allowing different quests to have varying impacts on the war effort. Kills and other actions can now count towards filling up that bar. We look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!

Dog Day: Claws vs Paws. Plus a 150% server boost for XP and Class XP!
Every dog will have its day!
This week weāre adding a new boss to the social district along with two new shops. A dog-themed onesie shop to match the cats. These shops will use all the same materials as the cat day shop so if you have any leftover materials youāre in luck!
Big Dog
The BIG DOG has been let loose in the social district joining the Vicious Cat as a social boss that drops Bits of Pet Fur. You can use these totally not gross tokens to get cat and dog-themed onesies from Not Alma in the social district.
Dog Onesies
Just like Cat Day you will be able to earn āBit of Pet Furā tokens from defeating the bosses in the social district to turn in to Not Alma for fluffy pet themed rewards.
Dog Housing Items
Weāve also added some dog-themed housing items using the usual housing item materials.

Woohoo! For one week we will be running a 150% XP and Class XP boost to assist in your adventures. Grind hard, heroes!

Embark to Azurecrest Island
This week players will meet up with Bob-O once again and learn more about the Azurecrest Lance. Travel to a mysterious island that once was a home for both Water Elves and early Lolosian settlers. Uncover itās dark history and eventually empower your Azurecrest Lance into one of two new powerful Spellforged weapons.
Azurecrest Armor
The Azurecrest armor is but one of the rewards youāll find on your adventures. This statted rare quality gear will be an alternative way to get caught up if youāre feeling a little behind in gearing.
Will you choose Redemption?
One of the two upgrade paths you can choose for the Azurecrest lance is Redemption. This regal weapon has the power to call down lightning dealing high damage to the enemy struck.
Or Scorn?
The alternative is Scorn, a loathsome shadowy weapon that drains the life force of your enemies healing you with every strike. The choice is yours to make, but donāt feel too bad you can eventually create the opposite weapon to the one you chose as the boss at the end of the Azurecrest Lanceās storyline has a chance to drop more.
Primal Orb Pet Update
Last week I released a statement about an error I made in releasing an item that was supposed to be reserved to players who purchased the Primal Orb Pet. As promised we are providing a shop attached to the Primal Orb Pet that will give you access to a Fiend Cape of Nulgath without the requirement of any Lost Fragments of Nulgath. Additionally, I had asked Dage to craft an exclusive version of the game known as the Primal Fiend Cape of Nulgath which will also be in the shop for no additional cost.
Whatās Next?
Iām really excited to share some information on what weāve got cooking. The team is hard at work creating a unique Talk Like a Pirate Day event this year. But, this isnāt your typical Talk Like a Pirate Day affair. As a long-time fan of Artix Entertainment and the original AdventureQuest, Iām super excited to announce we are working on a Pirate vs Ninja War for this yearās Talk Like a Pirate Day. Splinter factions within the two groups have formed and seek to put an end to the opposing side once and for all. However, this desire for destruction has awoken an ancient evil from deep within the Mysterious Isles. A new island emerges from the sea and an unseen voice calls out to the war-hungry leaders of both factions. Whispers of ancient weapons of unparalleled destruction can be theirs, an ultimate solution to their problemsā¦ DOOM to the opposing faction.
The Pirate vs Ninja War introduces two new DOOM weapons into AdventureQuest 3D. Along with two new Class Skins. Itās with great pleasure that I announce the Doom Pirate and Doom Ninja, weāve been working on this stuff in the background for a while now and the team is really excited for you guys to get your hands on this sometime in September.

The Lost Armory of Nulgath
This week in AdventureQuest 3D players weāve added the unreleased Nulgath items to the Oversoul. Head on over to talk to Poniard in the Forge of the Forlorn to access a shop containing lost Nulgath items.
Armorsā¦
Two armor sets, both obtainable through farming the new token which drops off monsters all over the Oversoul or via doing 3 new daily quests that involve fighting the current 3 big bosses in AdventureQuest 3D.
Scratch!
One of the two new travel forms added this patch is Skratch, the DOOM KITTY for Dragon Crystals. But Skratch is not aloneā¦
Vicious AND Overgrown?!
The Vicious Overgrown Cat is also obtainable for Dragon Crystals in the new shop.
Apocalys
Apocalys was an unreleased sword made by Dage, it was a shame for this weapon to lay dormant in the vault so not only are we releasing it. Weāve made it into a level 50 Spellforged weapon.

Cat Day returns to Adventure Quest 3D this week bringing with it items from the past, purresent, and furr-ture? Sorry, I tried! But yes items appreciating our soft little friends will be returning to the game as well as a boss in the social district!
Not Alma
Aā¦ weird creature joins in the celebrationā¦.? Next to Aria you can speak to āNot Almaā to purchase Cat Onesies, how cute! Some will be earnable through collecting bits of cat fur from the boss while others are purchasable through Dragon Crystals. BUT THATS NOT ALLā¦
Not Alma contains another shop containing some cat-themed related housing itemsā¦ including a āSand Boxā for catsā¦ Iām sure you can figure out what that is.
More importantly, however, you will be able to get some sleeping kitties for your house.
New Doddery Rewards
Weāve heard the feedback from players about wanting a permanent version of the MIni Doddery the Gnome travel form. Your cries for help have been answered! This week we are adding in some extra goodies. A permanent version of the mini travel form as well as a statue. There will be more goodies to spend your Gnome Berries on next week too.

Gnome Problem
Doddery the Gnome has made his presence known across Lore by being a bit of a nuisance. You can find him in Warlicās Magic Shoppe where he has a nifty little shop. But, If you find him in a daily boss map you can fight him for some extra goodies. Both the Travel Form and Pet will be obtainable through gameplay or can be purchased with Dragon Crystals.
Blue-Eyed Soul Dragon
Starting this week during the intro in Deathās Lair, Death will award you with a stone that unlocks the Blue-Eyed Soul Dragon Travel Form and Pet. But fear not existing heroes! If you return to Deathās Lair via the Travel Menu, you can unlock the Blue-Eye Soul Dragon for yourself. To be clear, the Blue-Eyed Soul Dragon is free for all players.
Legendary Oracle Class Set
The Legendary Oracle set arrives in all of its mystical glory! Achieve Rank 50 with the Oracle to unlock this vibrant appearance. We canāt wait to see the awesome screenshots youāll share on socials!

New Spellforged Items: Halo of the Sun Warrior
Halo of the Sun Warrior
Hello, adventurers! I hope everyone has been having a great week. For this update, we will be introducing two new Spellforged items into AdventureQuest 3D. Two golden halos will be craftable by collecting materials from Lumenion; one halo will grant you a haste buff on proc while the other a crit buff. Once youāve gathered the material from Lumenion, you can head to Yulgar and forge the halo of your choice!
Ignite your Halo
While you will first forge a normal metal halo you will be able to upgrade it into a Spellforged helm of your choice!
Lumenion Statues
Lumenion will also be dropping 4 statues starting today. This ofc begs the questionā¦ where is he storing such large lawn ornaments!? Two statues will be of Lumenion while the other two will be of the Blinding Starlight of Destiny.
2024 Summer Collection Update
Three new items have been added to the 2024 Summer collection this week! But you better hurry, because our summer goodies leave on July 31st. So if thereās anything in that collection that you must have right nowā¦ you better buy now before they go bye-bye!
Summer Grill Out War Shop Update
In addition to the Summer Collection being updated, weāve also added a new item to the Summer Grill Out War Shop for gold.
Balance Changes
Weāve made some changes to the Sun Fury Scythe to not only make it stronger but weāve also increased the amount of ore you obtain to craft it easier. This is done with the intent of making it easier to obtain the Sun Fury Scythes while you are leveling through the game.

Cosmic Raiment Questline Conclusion + More Inventory Spaces!
The quest for the Cosmic Raiment concludes
This week in AdventureQuest 3D, players will have the chance to finish the quest for the Cosmic Raiment set! In this cosmic conclusion, you will get to choose from 1 of 4 weapons initially ā but youāll have the chance to do further questing to achieve the other three. But weapons arenāt the only thingā¦
The Cosmic Companion Travel Form
At the end of the questline, players will be awarded a new Travel Form! So get ready to take on the form of a Cosmic Companion.
Havenāt started the Cosmic questline yet? Wellā¦ what are you waiting for?! Speak to Loremaster Hazel in Battleon to begin (or continue) your quest for the Cosmic Raiment set!
Expandable Inventory
Starting this week, players will be able to purchase inventory slots at the price of 200 Dragon Crystals per inventory slot. We will also be offering a one time bonus sale of obtaining 10 inventory slots for 500 Dragon Crystals. This offer will be limited to one per account.

Starlight Paladin Class Skin
Starlight Paladin Class Skin
This week in AdventureQuest 3D players can purchase the Starlight Paladin class skin. Harness the power of Starlight and wield it as a weapon to shatter your foes or a bulwark to protect your allies! The Starlight Paladin class skin can be purchased from Artix in Battleon at in the Shadow of the Wind Village. The class skin features a star-themed twist on the classic Paladinās skills and matches the Blinding Starlight of Destiny and this monthās promo item, The Starlight Longsword, perfectly!
Return to the Deep
This week will also bring additional drops to the Deep Grotto dungeon. All of the bosses within the dungeon now have a chance to drop pieces of the Clawgrah set. This rare set features devastating claws as weapons that will allow you to rip and tear through any of your foes!
Spellforged Icons
Weāre also updating the icons of the game and introducing some brand-new ones. Spellforged will have a unique color and gem on their icon to indicate they have a Spellforged effect on them. This will allow players to look at their inventory and know right away which gear has effects and which doesnāt.
Balance Changes
Weāve made some changes to Oracleās cross-skill as itās kind of the best cross-skill in the game right now and lets you just live through everything. Weāve increased its cooldown and will be monitoring the effects of these changes.
Oracle Class:
Cosmic Reverberation: Cooldown increased from 12 Seconds to 20
Misc Changes
Lumenion has had issues dealing with ranged classes such as the Pirate where he canāt retaliate. Changes have been made to address that.
Enemies within the Deep Grotto have been further tweaked to smooth out the experience.
