We’ve just released a new update, bringing system corrections, gameplay fixes and various text & UI ameliorations. Without further ado, let’s dig into the patch:

Correction of a rare issue with a looping autosave indicator not saving anymore.
Correction of a bug where SSS rating was not allowed if a player was hit by enemies after the timer ended, on timer missions.
Correction of a bug where the bike would stay on screen if being called while the timer was ending.
Gameplay:
Correction of a rare issue where player would be unable to throw the enemy after grabbing him
Correction of a rare issue where the Chapter 3 would not unlock based on winning conditions of Chapter 2 Node 4.
Correction of a bug in phase 2 of Onyx: if the player was dying at the same time as the last enemy, the third phase would be impossible to do.
Correction of an animation issue where the “drop down” anim would be skipped if player hits Stalkers enemy while they were doing their “take-off” animation
Correction of a bug that prevents walls to appear in “Damaging walls” mission types if using the “Just you and me” bike skill
Text & UI:
Correction of various typos in the Russian localization
Correction of wrong color for Ash’s name in some dialogs
Correction of the mention “Enemies will grow stronger” on the pop-up before launching a revenge mission, while it does not.

Beat godlike space beings to dust in Aeon Must Die! with these 10 Tips!
Hello everyone!
Mihkel from Limestone Games here. We’re so excited to bring you Aeon Must Die!, an electrifying beat ’em up space opera with an art style crackling with energy. Get ready to beat godlike beings into space dust or submission with bare fists and burning rage. Use these helpful tips to attune yourself to the optimal wavelength for ass-kicking enlightenment.
1. Feel the heat
In Aeon Must Die! you are above petty health bars. Instead, combat revolves around a core mechanic - internal temperature management. Your move-set, both defensive and offensive, comes in two flavours - those that raise your heat, and those that lower it. Use them to avoid getting Overheated or Drained, because in those states, a single hit will take you down.
Getting hit by enemies will also affect your temperature ; they can heat, drain, or even push you to your closest extreme state, whether it’s Drained or Overheated. Keep an eye on their color to know which.
2. The enemy plays dirty
When the enemy sees you, they see the Emperor-No-More, and defeating one such as that would earn them much glory. For this reason, only one enemy fights you at a time. However, there are those on the sidelines that will try to get cheap shots on you (cowardly maggots). You can spot those preparing an attack by the symbol over their head. Grab whatever fool you’re fighting and throw them at the one charging an attack to interrupt them.
3. Practice makes power
Aeon Must Die! is a fighting game with a rich move list. If you want to have any chance at dominating Pantheon, make sure to check the list in the options. There’s also a training mode to practice in and nail those combos.
4. Use that bike!
Your bike and trusted ally, Leech, can be customized with different power modules to assist you in combat. As you progress through the story and unlock them, be sure to check the bike maintenance menu and try them out! These are powerful moves that can bring you back from the brink of defeat.
5. Fight for purpose
As Aeon rages in your mind like a caged animal, every minute is a struggle for supremacy over your body. Each time you die, Aeon brings you back, but at a cost - you lose a point of Purpose, and Aeon’s will rushes in to replace it. To reclaim your Purpose, you must seek out the enemy who overcame you and beat them into oblivion. For now, control is yours, so make sure your path burns bright.
6. Glory or death
If you lose all Purpose, a final choice remains: die with glory and return to the last story echo (formed after major events) you cleared, or give in and allow Aeon to take control, losing all free will as he reaps his vengeance across the galaxy. With Aeon in charge, you no longer choose your own perks and story path.
7. Fight for respect
Aeon respects only one thing: power. As you progress through the story and prove your ability to kill without dying, you’ll earn Aeon’s Respect, and he’ll grant you more of his powers in the form of new moves. Make sure to plan your path in advance, because each perk becomes more expensive as you go.
8. Seek glory in side missions
To reclaim your throne you’ll need to gather enough power to defeat some of the strongest beings in the galaxy, so it may benefit you not to rush to the final battle. Spread your influence wide by doing side missions to earn more Purpose, Respect, and Bike Modules before betting everything in the final showdown.
9. The enemy is always learning
Everyone is against you. They plot your demise and share your supposed weaknesses. In Aeon Must Die! the enemy learns and adapts to your actions. Don’t get too comfortable using a certain move pattern or you will be countered. Keep developing and varying your playstyle to keep the enemy guessing.
10. Choose murder or mercy
Four Generals stand between you and your goal. If you defeat one, you must choose to spare or end them. Each choice carries risks and rewards, such as perks and augments, so it’s up to you to choose each in turn, provided you retain Purpose and the luxury of choice. Aeon may not be as merciful.

From its breakneck, beat ‘em up gameplay to its fighting game inspirations, the combat mechanics of Aeon Must Die! run deep and there are several interacting systems to wrap your head around - but no one ever said acquiring the title of Emperor of Pantheon was easy.
