Aerofly FS 2 - France VFR - Paris-Ile-de-France Airport Pack
France VFR is excited to present 11 additional general aviation airports as an add-on to Paris Ile-de-France regional scenery for Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator.
This airport pack is an extension to the existing France VFR Paris-Ile-de-France DLC and it is required to install the other DLC as well for this new extension. The product adds 11 detailed airports and airfields to the base product for the best VFR experience over Paris and its region. Each airport features ground textures from 0.25 to 0.50 meters.
We updated the Aerofly FS 2 Steam version today, mainly improving the navigation.
Change-Log (2020-12-04):
Top of climb and top of descent are computed correctly again
Constraints at the departure runway and arrival runway are removed from the navigation displays
Turns with a defined turn direction (left/right turn to heading) are now flown correctly and no longer end up in endless circles
Termination of segments and advancing to the next segment is more robust and the autopilot no longer heads off in a constant direction without following the route
Great circle flying has been restored allowing for long segments to be flown correctly (like a direct-to from Zurich to San Francisco)
Improvements to the route following of the copilot (which is available when overlay is enabled)
Missing navigation data for airports in the North-Eastern USA have been restored
A320 MCDU clicking the line select key next to the cruise altitude field now adds a suggested cruise altitude to the scratchpad
Just Flight - Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer now available as DLC
Just Flight, in partnership with Propair Flight, are excited to present the Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer for Aerofly FS 2.
The Hawk T1 is a British-built single engine jet trainer with a two-man tandem cockpit. First flown in 1974, the Hawk has served as an advanced training aircraft for nearly 40 years. The design has proved to be highly successful, with over 900 examples of more than 10 variants sold to air forces in 18 countries, including the UK, Finland, India and Saudi Arabia. The Hawk T1 variant, first delivered to the RAF in 1976, continues to serve as an advanced jet and weapons trainer. Possibly the most well-known Hawk T1s are those flown by the world-famous RAF Red Arrows display team, which has been flying the Hawk T1 since 1979.
The Hawk T1 has been modelled to an exceptional level of detail, featuring PBR materials with real-time environment reflections for superb quality and realism, 4096 x 4096 textures for the highest possible texture clarity, a variety of paint schemes (including the RAF and Red Arrows) and numerous animations.
