We'd firstly like to thank all of you for your amazing feedback on Hercule Poirot: The First Cases - with 300 reviews and counting we've read every single one and we love hearing from you (if you've not done one yet, now's your chance!). Secondly, there's a few more bugs that took some time to crack down on, which are outlined below:
Fixed black screen start-up for some ATI/AMD graphics cards
Fixed Chapter 4 issue blocking player progression
English text changes correcting wording + typos
Fixed in-scene collision bugs and visual glitches

🛠 Patch 1.0.5 - Mouse UI improvements
Hello all! Our point-and-click mouse and keyboard fans had frustrations about not being able to have mouse be an option for everything, so we made a small change to reflect that. Also added some small fixes outlined below!
You can now use your mouse on all UI/HUD buttons, such as the mindmap and profiles
You can now scroll on character profiles that are particularly long (sometimes due to translations)
Fixed some specific resolution bugs

🛠 Patch 1.0.4 - Progression blocking issues
Various fixes including issues reported by players.
Greetings all! It's been a delight watching you play and talk about Hercule Poirot: The First Cases, and we thank you so much for your kind reviews and helpful discussion posts. We just updated the game with some small fixes affecting German dialogue, FPS and some gameplay blockers.
Fixes include:
Graphical issues when going above 60FPS
German and French dialogue sometimes getting cut off
Missing French font character 'œ'
Mindmap showing incorrectly as completed in Chapter 2
Game progress sometimes blocking in Major's study in Chapter 3
If you found yourself stuck at Chapter 2 with all mindmaps completed and nothing to do, it might have happened before the update in which case you should follow this simple solution: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1573720/discussions/0/2951537622578962836/
