Agent 64: Spies Never Die

Agent 64 to feature Split-screen Multiplayer

Welcome Agents,

Long time no see. It's me again, Replicant D6, talking to you directly from my current safe-house.

I'm still deep undercover trying to finish this game, and as you can see from the latest batch of videos and screenshot, my mission is getting close to an end.

Still not 100% there yet, not to the point where I can know for sure a precise release date, but be sure that things are in good shape and most of my objectives are almost completed.

I've extracted some new information to share with you tonight:

Split-screen Multiplayer

Multiplayer modes have been the number one request from agents. And even under tense questioning, I've always tried not to spill the beans on a project that I wasn't quite sure could be done.

But today I finally get to announce it! Couch Coop and DM will be featured on release. Up to 4 players both in PvE and PvP modes!

And of course all of this will also work with custom player-made maps once the modkit gets released afterward. Look forward to duke it out on your own custom battlefields!

The Mission must go on

My mission is still ongoing, I can't stay for long without compromising my cover. Expect some more news very soon!

Again thanks a lot for your overwhelming support and encouragement. It means a lot and that's what keeps me going on such a grueling solo project.
I look forward to having more news and concrete dates to share with you as soon as possible!

See you soon agents,
D6

Demo Beta v6.1 Update - Paradox Mode

Hello agents, here's a new demo patch!

Paradox Mode

Paradoxes are gameplay modifiers that you unlock by beating the par time on set difficulty levels. It can be a cheat mode, a funny visual thing, or a big gameplay modifier. Paradox Mode lets you customize your gameplay with any combination of special options.
Some of you might recognize that type of modifiers as "mutators" which gives a pretty good idea of what the Paradox Mode offers.

Patch notes

Demo - Beta 6.1:
Changes:
- Player auto aim is less strong in 64 Agent.
- Explosive barrels are now also targeted by auto aim.
- Damage push/boosts are now consistent in all difficulty modes (same as in Agent mode).
- Completion times are now saved.

Paradox mode added (beat the par times to unlock paradox options):
- New Paradox: 'Big Heads'
- New Paradox: 'Disable AutoAim'
- New Paradox: 'One Hit Kill'

Will you be able to unlock all the Paradoxes in the demo?

Cheers,
Replicant D6

New Demo Available!

Hello agents, I have some more big news to share with you today!

New Demo!

The beta demo is finally available to download. It contains a new map on an almost final build of the game.

I recommend that you play the mission on every difficulty modes in order, as each mode can slightly alter the map layout and what happens on the mission.

This demo should be a good representation of what you can expect from the game. Tho, it's a beta, a few bugs and issues are likely to show up.
I'll be looking forward to your feedback and impressions!

Enjoy,
Replicant D6

Agent 64 at the upcoming PC Gaming Show

Thanks for playing the Alpha test. See you next time Agents!

Greetings Agents,

Thanks you all so much for checking out the game and playing the demo! Your feedback and reactions has been tremendous and I'm very happy to see that Agent 64 as been so well received! It reinforces my confidence in this project and I'm ready to go hard into the next steps of development.

The demo will remain available one more week from now, and then it's time to turn toward the future, as the development of the game is already advancing beyond it.

The demo map, the Space Communication Complex, will not be part of the first maps that will release during Early Access. But it will eventually come back, in a revised form, as a mid-game map.

As for the demo performances, I know it was pretty rough. And indeed the future Early Access release will get enhanced on that front. It is an important priority and be sure the next EA release will not be without some more optimizations. I already started the work on that.

That, and a lot of other things to add to the project. Breakable glass, proper gadgets to use, unlockable cheats, more character models, a couple more weapons, and so on. There's a lot to do.

Enjoy the demo while it remains available, and look out for more development updates on the game itself. Here on Steam or on the official Twitter account https://twitter.com/Agent64game.

Please be excited,
Replicant D6

June 2021 Steam Next Fest Alpha

The time is upon us, the Alpha Demo is out!

This demo contains a single mission, with 3 difficulty modes. Each harder difficulty mode has more objectives to accomplish. Everything you can expect from a game of that genre.

I personally recommend that you play every difficulty mode from easiest to hardest, each one adds a little something and it has a nice sense of progression. Even the map itself gets bigger when you go from Silver Agent mode to Golden Agent mode!

Keep in mind, some elements are still a work in progress. But the gameplay and controls should be well representative of what you can expect from the final game.

While there isn't yet cheats to unlock, you get a time at the end of the mission. Par times aren't too hard to beat, but how fast can you go beyond that? That's up to you ;)

I hope to see you on the Steam Community Hub and see what you think about this Alpha Demo.

See you then!
