Before this update you have the possibility to change every key to control your small paper plane. With the keyboard or with an XBox360 controller, you can change any keys, but is not exactly true for the joysticks. You have the possibility to inverse the control of your paper plane with the keyboard and the cross of the gamepad only.
If you use the joystick to control your small paper plane, the game takes automatically the rotation of your joysticks to apply the movement to your plane. (Up to Up, Down to Down, etc...)
Now you have two new options in the menu of the game to change that. You have the possibility to inverse the Up with the Down, the Left with the Right or both (Up to Down, Down to Up, etc...)
These new options are automatically deactivated when you launch the game for the first time. But you can at any time change these options.
This new update resets your options configuration file when you launch the game for the first time. And these new options are translated in all languages available for the game.

The cold is coming to Calepin Studio!
For this Christmas and New Year, all game of Calepin Studio is available at -50% on Steam only!
A new update is available for Air! This update correct few many issues, increase the game performance and change or add many functionalities of the game.
Game performance :
- I have merged many shaders to increase the game performance. With this merge, the graphic card is less use. - All textures of the game was resized to optimise the game without to change the graphic quality. With this change, the game is loading more quicker and he use less memory.(2.4go before the update and now 1.4go) - All shadows are now with a less resolution to increase the game performance. But the shadows are more smooth in order to make this change invisible. - I have deleted the HDR shader because the HDR (High dynamic range) shader embedded in the game engine is more powerful. - I have deleted the motion blur shader. Not very visible in the game and he uses too many resources.
Game render :
- To improve the game render, the draw lines are more smoothed of the toon shader to delete the pixel effect of this shader render. - The sharpness and chromatic aberration shaders are less strong. - The color saturation of the game changes a little bit.
Game functionnalities :
- With the Xbox game controller, only the A key is available now to select a menu like it is indicated in the help interface. Before all keys could be useful and can be make a conflict with other keys. - Now in the interface of the game you can change the selected menu with the directional cross or with the joystick. Before you could choose the menu only with the joystick. - A report log was added. This file is available in the Air folder of steam at the .txt format. After a new game session is launched, the file information is deleted to save the new information about your current game session. If you have a crash of the game, copy all file information in the forum of Air and explain your game crash in order to help me to solve this issue. Thank you.
Bug corrections :
- In the some levels, the shadows can appear very near of the player camera. This issue was solved. - In the control options with the Xbox game controller, the game check immediately if you change a direction with your joystick to asign this new key to control your plane. Before this update, the game didn't check or where he was taking a very long time to check the new control. - Solving a problem that would not correctly display the interface after a crash with your paper plane. No way for the player to restart the level or quit the game. - Solving a problem that would not correctly display the interface to change the level when you arrived at the end of a level. - Solving a problem that to not recorded correctly your position in the world when you passed a waypoint.
