My name is Lawllipops, I'm the Senior Producer at En Masse Entertainment, the new publisher of Alliance of Valiants Arms (AVA).
I'm happy to report today that En Masse will be taking over AVA on Steam, in addition to distributing the game through its new official website at http://ava.enmasse.com.
You probably have a lot of questions about what this publisher change means for you, the player. We've tried our best to anticipate your questions and answer them in a handy FAQ. Most importantly though, rest assured that we will offer a way to transfer your current AVA progress to our service. The FAQ has more info on this. Check it out here.
The folks here at En Masse as well as the developers of AVA, Redduck, also have a lot of great stuff in store for the future of AVA and we're getting right to work delivering it to you.
Today we launched a closed beta of the game on our servers and using our technology. The beta is live only until Tuesday, August 23, and sign-ups are largely over but we're giving out some additional keys on our new Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as during livestreams on our Twitch channel, if you want to give it a shot. The beta features a bunch of fixes and improvements, as well as the return of hide-and-seek mode. For a full list of changes check out the patch notes here.
Briefly following the closed beta, we're planning a larger open beta that will be coupled with the release of some new content. It's during this open beta that we hope to make the game re-available on Steam and allow you to transfer your current character and progress to our servers. When we do, you can be sure we'll announce it here.
In the meantime, you can interact with the AVA community on the new community forums. We'll also be lurking around the Steam community hub answering any questions you might have.

AVA Server Shutdown Reminder

AVA Moving - Not Closing!
Attention Soldiers,
Interesting news for you; saddening news for myself and the team.
Aeria Games will no longer be publishing AVA in Europe and North America.
When is this happening? We are currently finalizing the schedule and will inform you as soon as we have the final dates.
Accounts will be frozen shortly before the transfer. From this date onwards no progress or purchases will be carried forward. We do not know the exact date yet but notify you as soon as this is clearer.
At this point we do not know when the new version will open, but it will presumably be very, very shortly after the Aeria version closes. Possibly even same day.
Why is this happening? Redduck has chosen to transfer the AVA license to a new partner. Unfortunately for us this is the nature of license agreements and, as our contract has already expired, they were well in their rights to withdraw the license and issue it elsewhere.
Please be aware, this decision is completely out of the hands of Aeria Games. We do not own AVA and have no control outside of a contract as to what happens with it.
What about my AP? It will not be transferred to the new publisher so spend it quick. We’ll have some great (and very nice) sales over the next weeks to help you clear out all of your AP before you transfer.
What about our accounts and gear? Your accounts will not be lost. It’s very important to remember that this is a migration and not a shutdown. Everything your account contains at the time of the freeze will remain there.
ALL purchased items, both in-game AND via the Aeria Games Webmall, will be migrated with your accounts up until the freeze date (exact date to come). From this date onwards your accounts will not change.
Will I keep all my gear? Yes. Everything you buy will remain in your account.
What do we have to do? For now you do not need to do anything. We will take care of handling the database content to the new publisher. They will handle migrating that information into their own database and connecting it to the the new game and their servers.
If you need to take some action later, we will inform you of all the necessary steps in advance.
What if we have issues during migration? Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to assist you with any issues from the moment the migration begins. We will keep the support channel open for a few weeks after this date but all messages will simply be directed to the new publisher. Should you have any issues after the migration you will need to contact the new publisher. We will provide you with their contact before the migration begins.
Is there anything I can do to change this? No. This is contractual change that we cannot alter. The decision to remove themselves from the contract was Redduck’s to make. The decision of whom to sell the license onto is also theirs.
How can I get a Welcome Package? To qualify for receiving the "New Welcome Package 2016", you must be buying AND spending AP for the first time on your account and in A.V.A on April, 18th 2016 or later. Spending bonus AP (AP received from offers, promotions, events etc) will NOT count toward getting a Welcome Package.
How do I receive my items? The items of your Welcome Package will be delivered directly to you in-game inventory within 24 hours after your first purchase.
When will I receive my items? It will be paid out on the day following the time of your first purchase.
What is AP? AP, or Aeria Points, are the standard form of "currency" used across all of Aeria's games. Once you purchase AP, you can spend it on items in any Aeria game
How do I get AP? You can get Aeria Points by logging into Aeria's website with the account you use to play our games and visiting our Shop.
What type of currency is accepted? Aeria Games' shop currently accepts USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, GBP, BRL, TRY, PLN, MXN, and ARS
What type of payment options are available? We are offering several different payment options including Credit Card, Paypal Express, Paypal Recurring, Google Checkout, ClickandBuy, and Moneybookers.
Where can I buy items? You can buy items in-game in the Shop and/or in the Capsule Shop. You may also buy items HERE in the A.V.A Web Mall (this includes also the Loot Wheel and Loot Forge).The AP Loot Wheel does not count for a Welcome Package.

PM Spocktapus here once again. I just wanted to reach out to you all to say sorry for the connection issues lately. AVA has, in the last few days, been subjected to a series of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.
Given the nature of these attacks, mitigation by our Operations team and by our ISP has been only moderately successful. This has necessitated an emergency maintenance and continued monitoring by both our ISP and ourselves. While we continue to improve our ability to respond to these attacks it is considerably easier to launch a DDoS than to prevent one. We're putting all of our resources into this right now and we will keep you updated as new information comes to hand.
Additionally, we will be issuing a special compensation package to everyone once we have worked past this that will include a permanent pistol and a permanent melee weapon.
