In the conversations update, the campsite now hosts your party and will be a place to advance your relationship with them throughout a play through.
Players who complete all of the available conversations with their party can earn a new achievement added for this update as well.
Some abilities learned in the skill books have been improved. This was largely targeted at weaker abilities to make alternate play styles better.
More about M can be learned through the expanded bonus ending. This is accessed by defeating nightmare after all other bosses in a playthrough.
(SPOILERS) Lastly there are some bug and balance updates here:
-Heart fruit and Soul fruit can now be used in battles, but have been reduced by 33% -a number of enemies have had HP and other stat scales adjusted to make 300% more doable -the enemies in the ballroom that prevent darkness from being spawned no longer fail the only bosses achievement -resolved an issue that would sometimes cause the minecart to leave the track

Week One Update
Noteworthy changes: -New Boss: The Last Giant For those who explore the world thoroughly there is a new boss within the walled city. This boss counts towards the all bosses run of the game.
-The bonus ending scene achievement no longer requires max difficulty setting. Instead you will only need to kill all other bosses before defeating the final encounter in the Abyss.
-Some key items have been moved to locations that more easily facilitate exploration.
-Enemy counts have been reduced on a number of maps.
-Red spirits that previously followed the player while mirage powder was hiding them should no longer.
-A few lore books have been added to the archives.
