We are Attending the Next Fest on October 9th

Normally we did not have plans to participate in the steam next fest because I thought that the games that will be released in early access will not be able to participate in the next fest. Recently, a friend of mine asked why you are not participating in the next fest, and I said that our game is an early access game and therefore we cannot participate but my friend said that this is not the case and we can join, he even mentioned a game that is in early access and joined. So at first we thought that we should attend the next festival in June, but in order not to panic ourselves, I thought it appropriate to attend the next festival in October. While I'm writing a blog, I want to show you a work we did about animations:

My New Game's Community Server Has Been Opened

Finally, the community server of my new game was opened, I shared a post about an earthquake in Turkey and I asked you to donate for those in need, I hope your donations reach their destination.

After a while after the earthquake, we entered the recovery phase and I can say that we have made significant progress in our game, I shared an article on itch.io about what we did and I will copy it from there.

Mage Class Rework: Although the mage class is not currently available, the composer in my team said that there is little gameplay difference between the mage and the archer, and we changed the mage to a class focused on dealing area damage, all of the mage's abilities were about sending something forward and we changed that.

I won't go into too much detail for now, but to summarize briefly, we replaced the ice cone skill with icy spikes and now spikes come out of the ground, we changed the lightning arrow ability with lightning strike, now it shoots lightning from the top, we changed the fireball ability with flame spray, now it shoots flame in front of it.

Lore and Dialogues: We have completely finished the story and dialogues that we will show in the demo, most of the translation is finished, also the descriptions of the abilities, the dialogues of the pet have been translated, I have nothing special to explain about the story, but the uncertainty about the story is over

Mushroom Enemy Animations: We have completed all animations of the walking mushroom enemy. Walking, taking damage from all directions, doing damage from all directions and dying animations have been made, I'll leave the video below, you can watch it there:



We also overhauled the underground section, placed the lighting in a more attractive way and composed music for the underground that would better reflect the atmosphere. I'm posting the video about it below:



We are currently working on the appearance and animations of the character, unfortunately we have not progressed as far as I can share a video about it, but I want to share it with you as soon as possible. Stay tuned for developments, with love

About the Earthquake in Turkey

Greetings, maybe you have seen it on the news, there were two earthquakes with a magnitude of over 7 in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey. 10 cities were affected by the earthquake and 3 cities were subjected to great destruction. I am Turkish and I follow the developments with great sadness as I live in Turkey, on the one hand, I see the news of the aid coming from abroad and this situation makes me a little happy. I don't want to talk about these issues too much, but I can't help but say that the economy of the country is really bad and the government unfortunately did not manage the process well.

I'm not in the earthquake zone, likewise, no one in my team is in the earthquake zone, thank God, but unfortunately there are people whose relatives died in my team, my grandmother passed away recently, so I can understand people's pain. The number of deaths and injuries is constantly increasing, the number of destroyed buildings is increasing, I see people who are under the rubble. I also see looters and I get really angry and sad when I see them, it drives me crazy that looters can think about this when people are suffering so much.

Latest Status of My New Game

Hello after a long time, unfortunately I am coming with the news that the demo has been postponed again, but this time I had really troubled situations.

Final exams were held in January and I had to take the make-up exam from 5 courses, I only had one course left after the make-up exams, but other than that, there were troublesome situations.

My grandmother was in the hospital for about 15 days and passed away 10 days ago, so we stayed at my grandparents' house for a week, so the funeral home is not left empty for a week.

Apart from this, I also had some family problems, when everything came together, I couldn't deal with the project much.

We are working on the project, I want to present the demo to you as soon as possible and in the best way.

By the way, I would like to inform you that I have expanded my team, I have included a translator in my team, it will only translate between English and Turkish languages, but I am aware of the importance of quality translation, I would like to support more languages in the future, but our opportunities are limited at the moment.

Lowest Price Ever

Hello after a long time, we had a 90% discount before, but when I made this discount, the price of the game was 5$, you said that this price was too much, I made 2$ considering your criticisms. Considering your criticisms about publishing paid dlc, I made the dlc free and reduced the price of the game to $1. In these discounts, I discount with the highest percentage allowed by steam, since the base price is the lowest price allowed by steam, it does not allow more than 70%. Apart from this, there is another subject, I would like to talk about this subject, I would like to talk about a few things about my new project:



Currently, background, tiles, lighting, some portrait drawings are ready, drawing of the character and some animations are being worked on. Apart from that, we are working on the universe and the story of the game, we are also reviewing some systems in the game or I am trying to make small touches that I think you may like, but I don't want to miss too many surprises, so I'm talking a little mysterious :D



If you remember, I shared a developer roadmap, but unfortunately I had to postpone it because the team was busy and we couldn't spare much time for the project. It is not right for me to publicly publish a project that I do not find sufficient. Therefore, please be patient and avoid statements such as "publish as soon as possible".

Latest Status of My New Game

Greetings, I haven't shared an article about my new game for a long time, but I want to make a move to change this situation. I'm a little reticent on some issues, yes, but unfortunately I can't give much detail because I don't have enough material to show. Actually, we've made a lot of progress, but since I'm a bit of a perfectionist in some areas, I want to share it when I'm fully ready. Without further ado, I go into details:

Normally, we were planning to release the game in full version on Steam in the first quarter of 2024, but we need to create a budget for the possible expenses that may occur for the game, and I do not want to make the team members wait too long to repay their efforts, so we are switching to the early access model and it has been released on Steam in the first quarter of 2023. We plan to release, and the transition to the full version is when we normally plan to release, namely the first quarter of 2024. We will switch to the full version in 4 stages. Just below, I leave our developer roadmap:

Price Update Implemented

Hello again after a long time, I mentioned that the price of alpha & beta will be $1 in my last announcement, even though it has been a while since this announcement, I made the price update, I thought it would be more logical to apply the price update after the discount periods, so the implementation of the new price policy was a bit was late.

I said I would do the DLC for free as well, and I did it right after the announcement. I have to admit, it was a mistake from the very beginning to publish this DLC for a fee, and you are absolutely right in your reactions. I promise you that in my new games, I will not install paid DLC unless it offers really great content.

Let's talk a little bit about my new game, I'm planning to release a demo in April, but because the team members are a bit busy, we can't progress at the speed I want, which probably means the demo will be delayed. I prefer to delay instead of releasing a bad or incomplete demo. The planned release date of the game is the first quarter of 2024, but I cannot say that it will definitely be released on this date at the moment. However, I can say that I believe this game will be a really good game and I am doing my best to present you a good game. I can say that it will be a much more advanced game than Alpha & beta. About Pricing

Greetings, I will make a few changes about the pricing of alpha & beta and I would like to inform you about this issue. First of all, let me talk a little about why I made this decision: When I compare today's similar games with my own game, I can say that my game has very simple mechanics and even has the simplicity of mobile games, while I am working on my new game I can better understand what I'm missing or doing badly in my old game. I'm noticing, so I'll go for an update on pricing. There are also questions about collectible cards, let me answer that one more time. In order to add trading cards, I have to exceed a certain sales limit, but I don't know this limit either, all I know is that I need to sell more. Anyway, back to our topic:

How Alpha & Beta's Pricing Will Be: The current global price of Alpha & beta is $2, Turkey's price is 5 TL, and very soon the global price will be $1, there will be no country-specific pricing because when I make the global price $1, I will have given the minimum price tag.

About DLC Being Free: Yes, we will update the price of not only the main game but also the DLC, I would like to give the good news that the DLC will be free. I also received criticism as to why a DLC that only adds a difficulty level is paid, at that time, the idea of ​​​​uploading DLC ​​for free did not seem right to me, so I uploaded the DLC at the minimum price, but some players did not like it, and yes, I can say that they are right. Hello From a Long Time

Greetings, I haven't been posting here for a long time, but I need feedback on my new game, so I felt the need to make this announcement, and there are a couple of things I would like to mention:

First of all, I did the coding and optimization of alpha & beta a little bad, I admit that, but since there are not many features in the game, it is almost impossible to go below 30 fps, so there are not many situations that affect you related to optimization, and I also noticed that bad code writing causes some errors. Luckily I learned from my mistakes and my new game will code much more smoothly and at the same time it will be optimized at the best level.

We are not curious about the experiences in your old game, tell us about your new game!

I'm coming to that topic right now, my new game is going well right now, it's really great that I haven't encountered any big problems so far, even though there are times when I can't deal with it because of the intensity, I can say that everything is fine right now. I started the development process in April 2020 and so far I have come a long way, most of the gameplay elements are ok, even the interface design is largely ready, I have prepared many systems, now new enemies, weapons, classes, abilities, etc. It will be easier for me to add things.

Of course, I haven't worked in the categories of graphics, sound, story, chapter designs, dialogues, localization, worlds yet, so I can say that it is a very incomplete game at this stage, not even in the pre alpha process, I am trying to make the game much better by getting your feedback.
