Full release! Version 1.0 - added achievements, improved bots
today Alpha Decay will leave its Early Access phase. We will keep supporting the game in the future, but for now we thank you all for your support.
With the update 1.0 we added achievements and improved the AI behavior.

Update 0.2.1 - Steam Trading Cards and bugfixes
with the update 0.2.1 Steam Trading Cards have been added. In addition to that we fixed a few bugs.
The full list:
- Fixed the login bug
- No more login screen, your Steam name is now the name you have in the game
- The friendlist in the game is the same as your Steam friendlist
Bots are live NOW & Price permanently reduced
we are happy to announce that with the update 0.2 bots finally found a way in Alpha Decay. This means you will be able to play the game all by yourself, with your friends or against them.
Bots will be added to online matches as well when there are less than 8 players in the lobby.
Here are the complete update notes:
New feature: Bots added to online play!
- bots are added when playing solo or online with friends
- you can play the game all on your own, with your friends or against them
- you can earn credits and rank up when playing against the AI
- to play privately just go to "Play" -> "Create Game"
- removed the "Training" mode
adjustments to the gameplay:
- deaths decrease your core's health
- placing buildings restores your core's health
- destroying buildings decreases your opponent's core's health
Furthermore Alpha Decay will be permanently available for purchase for $9.99 or your regional equivalent.
UPDATE INFORMATION - Bots are almost done!
we are intensively working on integrating bots in Alpha Decay.
With the addition of AI controlled players the game will be playable without any other online players. Furthermore the bots will be also used in online play when there are less than 8 players in the lobby.
Although we don't have a release date for the Update 0.2 (that will contain the bots), we are certain it will be very soon.
Of course we will also update the demo version of the game.
Stay tuned for the release date of the update soon.

Bots in the works
we are aware of the low player count at the moment and are therefore working on bots, that can be used to fill up a lobby with less than 8 players!
So you will be able to play the game all by yourself or with friends and let the bots take the empty slots.
We will post more information soon!

we just released a demo version of Alpha Decay.
The demo is the full game that you can try for free for 120 minutes.
All progress will carry over to the bought version of the game if you decide to buy it.
So invite all your friends to join you!
Update 0.1.1 - Rebindable Keys
the first small update for Alpha Decay will be released today.
You will now be able to rebind keys.
Demo release September 5th at 10 am PDT
we have our demo ready to go and just wait to get it out on monday at 10 am PDT.
We are aware that currently it can be difficult to find enough players, but that will change as soon as the demo goes live. So thank you for the patience and for buying Alpha Decay.
Everyone can try the game out for free and there will be enough players for the ones that bought the game!

we are working on a demo version of Alpha Decay right now that should be up in the next days.
In the demo you will be able to try Alpha Decay for one hour and then decide if you want to buy the game and play more of it. All progress from the demo will carry over to the full game. And of course it's completely free.
