Brand New Visual Novel Available Now!!

It's my pleasure to announce that my new visual novel, Entschuldigung (which means ‘sorry’ in German) is now available on Steam!:
In between working on Always The Same Blue Sky and it's sequel Iridescence I wanted to work on a story that was tonally very different. Entschuldigung is a bleak horror story, told by a lost young man who longs to find a place in which he can feel safe. Due to circumstances beyond his control, our protagonist has recently emigrated to Berlin; a town that brims with an undercurrent of anxiety as war rapidly approaches. Alone in an alien land, he diverts his attention to a mysterious, old house, adamant that it hides secrets in its shadows. An insatiable curiosity leads our protagonist down a very dark path into the murky depths of humanity. As he fights to comprehend his reality, he also fights to make sense of himself.

That's right guys! Thanks to all of you, I've had the resources to work on a direct sequel. It's my great pleasure to officially announce 'Iridescence', coming Q4 2016! Make sure to bookmark alwaysthesamebluesky2.com to follow our progress.
Always The Same Blue Sky was a small passion-project, which performed a lot better than I'd ever hoped, and I'm forever grateful for that. Because I now know that there's a market for it, I've been able to put a lot more into Iridescence, not to mention, all of us have grown significantly in both ourselves and our abilities over the past couple of years. I have also of course taken on board the feedback received from our debut release.
Iridesence keeps the same soul, but is a very different tale, focusing on grander themes... I'm really excited to give all of you more information, but for now that'll have to wait. I'll be unveiling bits and pieces over the coming months on alwaysthesamebluesky2.com, as well as uploading exclusive artwork and desktop backgrounds, so make sure you check back regularly!

Just because you haven't heard from me in a little while doesn't mean I haven't been working hard... in fact, I've been working on something very special which I am planning announce shortly, so stay aboard!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you all for your support. I'm very chuffed that Always has had over 100 reviews and is rated very positively. It's your support that has allowed me to continue producing visual novels, so like I said, stay tuned ;)
I'd also like to say a special thanks to fosr who has kindly updated the Chinese translation meaning that no matter what language you choose to play through in, all content is available to you.
Patch Notes:
The Chinese translation has been updated so that all features introduced in version 2.0 now function when playing through in Chinese. Please note that you will need to start a new game for this update to take effect - existing saves are not compatible.
If you are not presented with the option to choose a gender when you first start a new game, then try the following: Return to the title screen, and go to 'Customise Journey'. Next change the language to English and then switch it back to Chinese. Finally, return to the title screen and select 'Start Journey'. Doing this will effectively clear any existing language data.

Save Bug Fixed + Plain Text Box Added
A new save bug had manifested for some you which has now been fixed.
I have also added a plain text box (selectable from the options menu) which acts as a sort of easy-reading-mode.
Updated German Translation Now Live!
The German translation has been updated so that all features introduced in version 2.0 now function when playing through in German. Please note that you will need to start a new game for this update to take effect - existing saves are not compatible.
Updates for both the Chinese and Japanese translations are being worked on and will hopefully be available soon!
Minor Update
Corrected a couple of typos I somehow missed during my numerous proof-reads >_<
I have also replaced/updated some of the achievement icons with ones I feel better suit the story.
Save Issue Fixed
Some people have reported encountering an error when loading a save file created after a certain point in the novel - this has now been resolved. To anyone affected, remember you can hold CTRL to skip text and resume from when you left off. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
