An Odd Tale

Patch Notes for V1.3.0

Gameplay Changes:
- After seeing how much trouble people are going through to find every brazier, we've decided to increase the reward of finding them all.

Technical Changes:
- An error in version 1.2.0 caused the player to be taken to Dumpstier after completing the quest in the Screeching Mountains. The player is now taken to the Prisoner's Dungeon, which is the next chronological quest.
- We've unlocked the Prisoner's Dungeon for players affected by the issue above. But this means that
they won't be able to view the opening cinematic of the quest. This won't affect gameplay nor progression.
- Updated The Dimension Guardian's Home's and the Prisoner's Dungeon's descriptions in the notebook.
- Braziers in the Dimension Guardian's Home can now be interacted with.
- The player's character now appears in the opening cinematic of the Screeching Mountains. This bug was never reported to us, but a lot of people were probably confused.

I know it's 2:00am. Leave me alone.

Patch Notes for V1.2.0

Gameplay Changes:
- Puzzle 3 for The Hidden Quest is now available.
- Many people immediately began climbing the Screeching Mountains immediately, without talking to Cart-Man. This was likely because the player spawns into the map facing away from Cart-Man. To fix this, we've moved Cart-Man to be in front of the player when they spawn into the world.
- There is now a page that displays in the "Places" tab of the notebook after the player has discovered every location.
- Added a yellow interaction light to the class selectors, as some players failed to realize that they could be interacted with.

Technical Changes:
- The final credits now trigger after defeating the final boss.
- The player is now returned to the main menu after the final credits play.

Misc:
- We've uploaded the entire soundtrack onto our YouTube channel.
- For the players who beat the game before this update, we've uploaded the final credits to our YouTube channel too.

Patch Notes for V1.1.0

Gameplay Changes:
- Some players haven't realized that they can take initiative when it comes to improving their arsenal and exploring the
world. Torial will now try to explain to players more clearly what they can do as they play. She now advises you to return
to Dumpstier often to purchase better weapons from Shop Street Shop and Sorcery Store, to purchase abilities in your
notebook, and to seek out braziers if you lack the damage to defeat enemies.
- Players now cannot leave Torial's store without selecting a class.
- Just about everyone who reached The Ranger's Facility was confused as to what they were supposed to do, assuming they had
to defeat a number of enemies, when in reality, they simply have to walk to the side of the facility and interact with the
green light to the left of the building. To fix this, we've removed the two enemies that the player spawns directly in front
of, to try and show that the enemies are not the primary objective of the quest.
- We've added a brand new quest, hidden somewhere in the game (but not where you're thinking). The first person to find
and complete it will be rewarded with a cookie.

Technical Changes:
- Falling into water in the Ranger's Facility no longer disables input.
- The (Fictional) Dragon subclass is now available to play.
- Removed a random level change trigger that teleported the player to the tutorial level.
- Torial no longer teleports outside of the map when you're finished talking with her.
- Defessus no longer teleports into the void when you're finished talking with him.
