Community Tournament finals this weekend!
This first community tournament has been quite a ride, both for organizers and the participants. Despite all the bumps along the way, we're now nearing the finals. If things go all according to the plan, this weekend, around 6pm CET on Sunday, we will have the grand final of the whole thing. And man, we can't wait!



The plan is to grab the stream of one of the participants, and re-stream it kinda-live with our lousy dev commentary on our twitch channel. Reminder: the tournament website, and our Discord server.

So, when we designed the German nation for Ancestors Legacy, the goal was to make them feel tough and heavy, with all their tactics and elite cavalry. Then, we spoke to our composers, Adam and Krzysiek, and told them that they would have a tough nut to crack with making a right music for it.     This multiplayer beta of Ancestors Legacy is just a small fraction of the final product, and yet almost 50k people have already decided to download it. We want to find the best way to reward those who made this happen and do something more than just say 'thanks'. Stay tuned.

    This is humbling, we are crunching working hard to fix, tweak and balance the multiplayer constantly. And we will be patching this beta as frequently as possible. The patches are released daily so far, and the changelog can be found on the last page of the Manual.

    We are reading the reviews and we'd like you to know, that whether you liked the game or not, as long as your review bases on merit, it influences the game... and us. Make no mistake, those reviews that Steam users find most useful, are the ones that help the development too. So, just wanted to say... keep it up.

    Last, but not least, before you post, friendly reminders:
    • The final product will feature give-or-take 40 hours of single-player missions in multiple campaigns. Also, the multiplayer part of the game will feature 9 maps.
    • This beta contains a link to the extensive Manual in the main menu. It answers most of questions and doubts from the reviews.
    • We believe in community-driven feedback value of those most "upvoted" reviews, so we will find a way to reward the fact, that some of you take your time to write what you think. Even if your experience sucked. Sorry.

    PS. Oh, yeah, and thanks to streamers and youtubers for posting the gameplay. Watching those keeps us motivated on those cold winter evenings in Poland. :)
