We issued new build today! This time we haven't added a lot of new features, though, we have fixed a few remarkable bugs.

FIXED:
1. Character controller:
— characters no longer slide down the hills and mountains spontaneously
— characters don't jump off while attacking each other
— a character's body doesn't start randomly moving after death
— characters' moves don't slow down under low FPS
— characters don't perform peculiar and unexpected moves within certain scenarious
2. Quests tips now looks differently (find them in the upper left corner)
3. UI: character's haircuts don't get lost after removing them in the Inventory menu
4. General mechanics: safe zone was set incorrectly, and characters were able to kill each other in the village
ADDED:
1. Level design: village now looks differently, as we removed some trees and added some new objects
2. Music in the game now is turned on!
3. Now the character can block while attacking (earlier it was possible only after the previous move was completed)

FIXED:
1. Quest on the training ground: now the damage is enabled, and you can fight the dummies.
2. Extracting resources from the trees: now you can only extract timber from the trees. Ore or any other items won't be dropping anymore.
3. Building: you may build the houses on the relevant ground and place foundations, walls, windows, ceilings, etc.
4. Quests' counter: now the counter is visible all the time (you can find it in the upper left corner just below the red label)
ADDED:
1. Damage indicator: now the cursor changes its form from the round one to the star-like one, when the damage is done
2. Trees' loading system: trees' visualization is optimized
3. Combat system: noww it is possible to fight in a stealth mode. To enable the mode press Z
CURRENT ISSUES:
1. Servers' performance stability: stability is guaranteed only for the Moscow server. The rest of the servers can shows some lags, and will be fixed after the update. Servers' update is planned to be performed on Monday, December 18th.
2. Building: doors cannot be placed at the moment

Hello players!
Yesterday we asked you for a help with Chinese localization, and today we are back with a similar request.
Apparently, we are not that good with foreign languages, so we really need help from people around the world.
If you are a native speaker, and your language differs from Russian, please, help us to improve the game! If you play Ancient Siberia and see some misspelled words, or phrases which seem unnatural to you, please let us know!

UPDATES: December 14th
Hello, players of Ancient Siberia!
As we promised, we start posting short reports on what has been fixed or added.
FEATURES:
— NPCs: We added some domestic animals, and now the village looks more inhabited
— Skills: The progress bar is showing the exact pace of the skills' upgrade. Also, you will see what you should do to raise your current level
— Survival: Thirst and hunger now affect your character
— Character's constructor: Now you can customize you character by changing the complection, facial hairstyle, the hair color, etc.
— Servers: New server in Hong Kong has been launched successfully!
— Servers: Servers' performance has been raised
BUGS:
— Character's controller in the combat mode is fixed
— Navigation within the menu windows is fixed
At the moment we are working on fixing the most crucial bugs, as well as on updating the client. We are planning to decrease the file's size. It will help to reduce the system load, which is very important for those players who use computers with average performance capability.

Hello everyone!
Recently we have received a few comments from the Chinese-speaking players. Unfortunately, these reviews were not quite positive. The negative reaction was caused by the quality of the Chinese localization.
We have to admit, that Chinese is pretty exotic for us, and no one in our team knows this beautiful, but complicated language. That is why we found an agency specialized on translation into Chinese. We payed a considerable amount of money for it, and hoped that everything would be fine.
Alas, the reviews proved that the localization is not good enough, and for Chinese native speakers it felt like a machine translation. Unfortunately, we cannot solve this problem by our own means. That is why we decided to ask for a help.

3D Modellers present: Before & After, part II
Here is our traditional 'before' and 'after' post. We have already shown you how the armor sets and clothes had changed their looks while we had been working on the game.
Now is the time to show you the interior details. All the players of the Ancient Siberia game can build their own houses and set them up according to their tastes.
At first our 2D Artist made a few sketches of the in-game props:

Great news, everybody!
We have finally made it, and passed the Steam review process! Now we are preparing ourselves to be released in Early Access, and the date is set.
The journey to Ancient Siberia will start soon, so, please, don't plan anything on 11th of December, 2017!
How to play Ancient Siberia: Video Tutorials
Ancient Siberia game will be released in Early Access on Steam in no time. Therefore, we decided to make a few video tutorials. The first one tells about the general game mechanics, such as getting necessary resources, attacking the enemies and building houses.
We dedicated the second video to the magic system. In Ancient Siberia players use runic magic. Each user can create runes of 6 different schools. Runes help in combat and allow you to raise certain basic characteristics. For example, they can increase your running speed or attack speed.
By watching the third video you will learn how the combat system actually works. Also, in this video we are giving some advice on how to survive in combat.
3D Modellers present: Clothes
We have already presented the sets of armor made by our 3D artists for players and NPCs. Now we want to show the costumes we’ve created. The developers have made three sets for the NPCs of various social statuses. So that on getting into the game, you can immediately define who is who. Also these costumes can be crafted by the users themselves or be bought from the vendors. If you do not want to participate in fights, but would like to be engaged in craft, trade or construction, then you can wear beautiful clothes instead of armor.

Our 3D artists always pay attention to developing the characters’ costumes and armors. Every model is being modified several times. Comparing the 'before' and 'after' variants we are surprised of how different they can be sometimes. For example, compare these sets:
Also, we keep in touch with testers and future players of our game. When we published the first set of heavy armor, we received several comments saying that this armor would not provide enough protection to the character. Taking into account all the recommendations, our artists have created a new set. So, here is a version of the armor in its 'in progress' state:
