Animated Puzzles - UPDATE 14/12 -16
Mixed update!
We’ve made some mixed updates and improvements, hope you will like them! ːsteamhappyː
Here’s some of the changes:
Translations:
- Added translated store description for: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Russian, Danish, Norwegian and Simplified Chinese.
- Improved in-game translations for: Italian, French, Russian, Danish and Norwegian.
New “Custom Option”: Sort pieces by type
Places frame pieces in the top of the tray.
Improved gamepad controls
While still somewhat locked to grid for precision, the joystick now moves the cursor/selector much more freely. Giving you a smoother and faster gamepad experience.
Updates to puzzle piece tray:
- Puzzle piece tray can now be up to 9 pieces wide instead of 5.
- The puzzle piece tray no longer closes automatically, in the case where the tray is overlaying the puzzle board and a piece is dragged towards it. If you want the tray to close automatically while it’s covering parts of the board, just drag a piece over the tray "drag button”.
- Harder to accidentally drop the tray "drag button”, while dragging it.
- You can now scroll the tray while holding a puzzle piece. Either move the puzzle piece towards top/ bottom of the tray, or use the mouse wheel while holding a piece above the tray. This should make it easier so manually sort pieces in the tray.
- You can now sort puzzles pieces within the tray while using controller. Just select the piece you want to move, hold down the A button and move it by using the joystick.
Animated Puzzles - Autumn Sale!
Celebrating Steam Autumn sale by finally adding our Animated Autumn Pack! :D
Update includes:
- 6 new animated autumn puzzles.
- Controller fix – Instead of tapping you can now also hold to move between menu tiles, pieces and positions.
- Minor bug fixes.
Animated Puzzles - UPDATE 5/11 -16
Some new updates!
Update includes:
- Bug fixes for achievements (among other things).
- Two new shapes of puzzle pieces.
- Updated animations on a few of the puzzles.
- Added paging to the workshop menu, to support more than 50 subscribed puzzles.
- New settings sliders.

We also want to take the opportunity to let everyone know that we're working on two more animated puzzles packs (6 puzzles each) together with two new puzzle shapes. We hope to add some oft the new content shortly. :)
Animated Puzzles - UPDATE 25/9 -16
Finally another update!
Here’s some of the changes we’ve made:
Settings:
- Volume sliders for music and SFX instead of just ON and OFF
- Slider for frame size.
Custom options:
- Added the possibility to set custom options for puzzles. Options available are “Disable rotate” and “lock pieces when they are in the right place”. These options are available in the “select shape” menu when you begin a new / restart a puzzle. Since custom options might make the game easier, you will not get achievements or be added to the Leaderboards on a puzzle where custom options are enabled.
Other:
- Added some helping sound effects in Daily challenges.
- Fixed issue where the "One Win Wonder" achievement wasn't awarded after a win.
- Hopefully fixed the “missing piece” bug that occasionally occurred.

Animated Puzzles - Free Windows demo
For those who haven't already noticed, we're happy to announce that we now have a free Animated Puzzles Windows demo!
The demo is to provide you with an overview of what Animated Puzzles looks like and what features it holds. You will be able to play the first 6 puzzles, including all three difficulties together with all puzzle piece shapes available.
