The New World is Here
Hello Everyone!
The third world is finally ready and open for play. This update represents the last six months of work between Ded and I. There will be some bugs to fix, and some mechanics to finish off, but this is the beginning of the fulfillment of Animyst's potential. All buildings and player inventories are being wiped. This is the first and last time in our history that there will be such a complete wipe. Of course, those who support us on Patreon will keep their custom, limited edition skins. We are so excited to see you all in game, and hear your ideas about how to perfect the new incarnation of our beloved game.

Patch Notes for Update 8/12/2020
+ Replaced the second game world with the final gameworld of Animyst
+ Full implementation of player Visor (V) which guides players through the massive wasteland. This is especially key since we have scrambled the content areas and the Drought together in this world.
+ Full implementation of our dual Faith (factions) system with regard to player damage.
+ Creatures of Faith now only agro players incarnated into their enemy Faith
+ Addition of doubled inventory space per player, one for Cursed and one for Friend incarnations
+ New loading screens, from start to spawn
+ Night time now negates Faith-specific damages basically creating a PVP free-for-all time
+ Segregation of all creatures in underground caverns. Siloing them here will allow us to fully optimize the mob battle experience and art design of creatures. Expect many more changes to come to these underground areas before we bring creatures above ground to populate the main world.
+ New gui art and borders
+ implementation of portal system to replace the (mostly) removed G menu
+ T has become autorun
+ implementation of Elder Forges. These will burn Ancestors' Flesh and elemental magic to produce items in the higher tier of the crafting system, including Amber.
+ The Drought Banker will be nowhere in the world until someone crafts one. This is the one place that you may share inventory space between your two toons (Cursed & Friend)
+ Addition of the empty handed projectile spell where you throw a bone at your opponent.
+ Dividing of bottles into dual Faith designs.
+ Addition of new chat messages reflecting night time coming and going.
+ Changes to lighting settings.
+ Changes to quality settings
+ Changes to jump animation
+ Changes to building system so that each Nation Faith builds on their own half of the map
The Third World is Almost Done!
Hi!
We are less than a week away from the release of the third gameworld of Animyst. There will be no fourth! This is the biggest, deadest, most comprehensive update ever and we think it represents the beginning of the beginning of what Animyst was always supposed to be. Thank you for being patient! It's taken longer than we thought, but we are days away and so excited to play along side you all. Bear with us for a few more days and then go crazy with us for the first week of the third, and last world!
