We hope you're loving the Early Access release of Anvil Saga. Our team is still working hard on the game and we have a few new updates to share with you.
Firstly, we've added the two remaining seasons, Fall and Winter. And there are eight new modifiers to diversify your gaming experience.
One of the modifiers is Halloween, the scariest night of the year! During this time, the Witches in Anvil Saga will visit the forge more than any other customers. There's a very good opportunity to become friends with the Witches, and the prices of their orders will go up. On the other hand, the monks would prefer to lay low, so don’t expect them to come often.
Beware of the blizzard during Winter. It will take much longer for the courier to reach the forge because of the thick snow on the roads. You'll need to order the right items in advance and in bulks to avoid delays. And the bad weather will not only push up prices on orders, but will make folks mostly stay at home.
Modifiers will not only change the visuals in Anvil Saga, but also will force you to be clever and creative in solving complex business problems.
In addition to the Blizzard and Halloween, we've added these six modifiers as well:
Beaujolais Day;
Foliage Cleaning;
Christmas;
Eclipse;
Frosty Snowmen;
Valentine's Day.
We have also updated the sun and moon, which are now more picturesque.

Update 0.5 is out!

The latest update for Anvil Saga is now available and ready for download! We've added the content that we promised you in the roadmap, along with changes based on comments from the community. Here's what's in store for you. New added content:
The Fair – the finale of the first chapter.
New complex orders for customers.
New side quests.
12 new perks for the forge workers.
Improvements and fixes:
Changed the scale of the highlighted worker icon. Previously, it was smaller than other icons, and is now larger than them.
The number of available workers is now displayed on the hiring screen.
Added a display for raw materials that are still required for an order above the corresponding workbench. For example, if you run out of ingots or ore, a crossed out icon with the resource will always hang above the anvil, with ore above the furnace, and so on.
Added the ability to switch between workers in the equipment interface.
Added the ability to move furniture between rooms.
Tuned up the mechanics of orders and reputation:
Orders that require a book to study will only appear from the second level of the counter.
If a representative of one faction comes to you, and you are already working on an order from their opposition, the new customer does not leave before he gets in line. You have the option to choose which faction's order to fulfill.
Fulfilling orders from peasants does not affect reputation.
Reputation from the warriors reduced to 1.
Revised the prices of orders for different types of customers.
Possible workers will now include characters with a different appearance to those the player already has.
Other:
Removed the ingot smelting from the tutorial.
Installed the dynamic price of rooms – first cheaper, then more expensive.
You can now see the second customer without the camera moving in the tutorial.

Arthur will have the opportunity to help a variety of new heroes, all of whom are in desperate need of the blacksmith's skills.
While you might be star-struck by some of the new characters, for them, meeting Arthur could be a life-changing and inspiring experience! However, not all of them have noble intentions...
In addition to the new characters, we're also working on implementing the following changes to Anvil Saga:

Another Hotfix, Hotter Than the Last One

We forged a new update that fixes a slew of bugs. We will continue collecting your feedback and bug reports. Thank you for being so active and sharing your experience!
IMPORTANT: While saves from previous versions must be compatible, most of the save bugs will persist on old saves.

Latest Hotfix Reverted!

As it turned out, the latest hotfix was too hot. As a result, there was one bug that could block your progress, namely sometimes a day would not end. We are reverting the game to the previous build which has no known blockers, although some previous minor bugs will stay unfixed for now. We will test the current build again, hotfix the hotfix, and roll it back out soon!
MPORTANT: The reversion may result in incompatible save files. We will try to fix this problem in the future updates. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

IMPORTANT: Installing the update and resuming your existing game session using old save files will not result in the bugs listed below being fixed. These bugs will be fixed only if you start a new game. Other than that, the old save files are compatible with the update and should not produce any issues.

Day 1 Major Bug-fixing

Thank you all for the overwhelming, yet pleasant launch of Anvil Saga. We have received a whole lot of comments, useful feedback, and support. Today we want to share the first important update focused on eliminating the most crucial bugs and problems in the release version.
Without further ado… Tada!
IMPORTANT: To ensure the saving bug is fixed, locate to USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Pirozhok Std_\Anvil Saga and delete the whole folder with cache before launching the updated version.
If you have already switched to the beta-branch with a hotfix, opt out of the beta-testing program before installing the update.

Manual saves in the pause menu.
Saves when quitting to the main menu.
Fixed in this version:
Bug where the game would not save due to the blacksmiths wearing their equipment.
Workers stuck on the ladders when Antonio arrived.
Cupboard/bookcase room indicators resetting and displaying at incorrect places after reloading.
The empty hiring panel after reloading.
Orders uncompleted after reloading.
Orders endlessly competing after reloading.
The soldier, who pays money for good relations with England, stuck at the stall.
Customers not paying their debts and freezing after reloading.
