We're back for another Steam Next Fest with a playable demo of Wytchwood! Come get in on some pre-Halloween witchery with Alientrap's new crafting adventure game.
Step into the shoes (talons?) of a most curious crone, as she begins to unravel that which binds the wood.
A deal is made, a deal of hair and slime and stone and feather, and such a witch is she to fulfill it. Use perception beyond sight, and craft beyond the mundane to see past wrongs made right.
This demo offering will only be around for the duration of the Steam Game Festival (June 16-22, 2020).
Hello! Steam Creator Homepage's are now live - and you can follow Alientrap's at:

Apotheon 1.1 - Online Multiplayer Beta!
We've added online multiplayer! Right now currently in beta - with five maps, and three game modes (deathmatch, team deathmatch, elimination). There are also bots you can add to fight against.
While developing Apotheon's combat system we wanted to fight each other to really make sure it had a lot of depth - since we didn't live in the same city we added online support early on. The online game modes were one of our favorite parts of the game throughout development - but we decided to not release it with the main game because we didn't want to distract from the large single player adventure.
We've are now planning to release the online modes as a free standalone game - Apotheon Arena, on Steam in the coming months (though this plan depends on how well the beta goes). We want to release it for free so we can have the largest user base possible - and help promote the main single player game. When we release it and with how much content will depend on how this beta goes.
If servers are empty at times, check it out by starting a bot match! We do not have dedicated servers at this time, but it’s very easy to host your own game.
With this update comes some single player fixes also:
- Fixed bug with players bypassing Hera in Village act 2
- Map overlay turned off if Sea Compass is used
- Fixed bug with player bypassing Thetis in Sea
- Lockbox positions are now reset on reload if not used, incase players knocks them away so they cant get them
- Linux Dualshock lightbar support
Thanks!
