Arc Savior

Patch 1.0.11 - Changelog

This patch fixes the following issue:

Some players have noted black screens and crashes upon starting up Arc Savior. This issue occurs only after quitting the game on its initial play and restarting the game for a second time.

The crashes occurred due to the graphicsdata.dat file attempting to initiate incorrect screen resolutions at launch.

I would personally like to thank Eisberg for the massive contribution in helping fix this issue. Without it, I would still be debugging and bashing my head against my keyboard trying to figure it out. Your efforts, patients and devotion to Arc Savior are very much appreciated!

Patch 1.0.10 - Changelog

Patch 1.0.9 - Changelog

This patch address the following:

Players have expressed interest in being able to control the graphical detail of the game more. I have implemented additional options in the settings menu to accommodate this.

Added:

  • Texture Resolution Adjustment
  • Anti-aliasing Adjustment
  • Shadow Type Selection
  • Shadow Detail Adjustment
  • Updated Quality Presets with new selections

Patch 1.0.8 - Changelog

This Patch addresses the following:

Tweaks

  • AI Ships have had their accuracy reduced slightly.
  • Controller/Joystick feel has been changed: Previously players have reported the controls for aiming were too "twitchy" even at low sensitivity settings. To correct this, the reticle (only for joystick usage) has been set to the center of the screen for a easier aiming experience. Setting a low sensitivity now correctly lowers the player rotation speed.
  • Reported that some players were unaware that modules could be chosen after selecting a different ship. To correct this, upon selecting a ship the available modules will flash reminding players to choose before moving to the next screen.
  • Added "Skip Cut Scene" button mapping in the controls map menu. To support this, a message will display when a Cut Scene can be skipped.

Bug Fixes:

  • Occasionally enemy AI could get stuck on objects. A fix has been implemented to address this, but will still be monitored in case further adjustment is needed.
  • Fixed Spelling Error for DATA THIEVES mission menu button.
  • facepalm

Patch 1.0.7 - Changelog

This Patch addresses the following:

Tweaks:

  • Slightly increased time before dialogue would finish allowing player more time to read.
  • Treason Mission Performance optimization
  • Extended Under Fire Mission
  • Added Barrel Roll Section to Pilot Wings (Tutorial)

Bug Fixes:
Truth Mission - Bug fixed: Occasionally during Relay Cut Scene, progression would stop not allowing the scene to complete.

Known Issues:
21:9 native resolution monitors not scaling properly

Patch 1.0.6 - Changelog

It turns out that a previous patch introduced a bug that would not allow the Raeden Secrets Mission to be completed. This patch addresses the following:

  • Fixed Issue of Raeden Secrets not being able to be completed
  • Incorrect respawning of enemies in Furies Wings
  • Hack Point in Raeden Secrets occasionally needing to be reset by the player.

Patch 1.0.5 - Changelog

This patch addresses the noted controller function issues.

  • Reworked aiming function with right analogue stick. It should now be much more fluid and intuitive.
  • Removed Joystick "Roll Lock" modifier. To Roll your ship left or right you can now assign the appropriate buttons without the need of an additional button to do so. DEFAULT is set to Left and Right D-pad.

Note: It is suggested that you Load the DEFAULT mappings and then assign your preferred controls. Also, adjust the joystick sensitivity only in the Sensitivity panel and NOT in the calibrate panel. The sensitivity setting in the calibrate panel refers to the analogue value range of the stick and not how smooth the movement is. I suggest you leave it in the center. You may adjust at your own discretion however.

Thank you for your patients and all of your feedback. Fly Safe!

Patch 1.0.4 - Changelog

It would seem Patch 1.0.3 did not include the appropriate Truth objective indication that was intended. Thankfully it is an easy fix and the player focus for the first part of this mission should now be more obvious.

Tweaks:

  • Updated objective indicators for the initial part of TRUTH

Known Issues:

  • Reported that TREASON mission has reduced frame rate during final wave. This will hopefully be resolved in the next patch.

As always, thank you for your patients and for all of your support!

Patch 1.0.3 - Changelog
