It's time for us to increase our price. Since our release, we have been continuously improving the product in terms of polish, experience, and training.
Training has been a big focus for us. Like any sport, good instruction will send you on a path towards mastery. Thanks to the feedback from the community and testers, we feel our training is much improved.
This is the first price increase in a series that will occur over the next several months.
A second linear track is in production and multiplayer options will start being implemented.
Surfs up. Grab an Arc Board. See you on the Spark!
Demoed at Seattle VR Meetup
We had a great showing at the Seattle VR Meetup, where both new and experienced VR people tried out Arc Surfer.
The meetup was held at Seattle's Pacific Science Center.

Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.6)
Revisit the Tutorial Track. Revamped graphics brings it in line with the other areas.
- Major update to visuals
- Added jump booster training
- New movement and jump videos
- Adjustments to training components
Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.4)
Leaderboard scores are being reset. A bug was found in the scoring system, which is now fixed. Sorry leaders.
Track layout at the starting gate has changed. Also, a few more track tweaks and additional jump boosters have been added.
Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.3)
Become a better Arc Surfer with enhanced training.
The tutorial now encourages you to stand in the "sweet spot" and the updated videos show more detail.
Arc Board Techniques:
1) Do not bend over to increase speed. Adjust your position by taking small foot steps and shifting your weight, but keep your body upright (like in Tai Chi).
2) When you jump, focus on the rail you are heading towards and push into it. If you find you are slowing down when jumping, that means you are pulling back, and you will have a harder time controlling the board.
3) When you "jump", keep your feet on the ground. A light pretend jump is all it takes.
Select "Tutorial" in the Garage to become more proficient on the Arc Board.
Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.2)
To address our unique multiplayer mode, we have changed the text on the Play Menu to read:
Multiplayer, auto join, 1-8 players.
When you select the Multiplayer button, you will either be starting a new race or entering a race in progress.
If you enter a race in progress, you will start at a location along the track behind the other players, but part of the pack.
At the end of the race, all players currently in that race, will restart the next race together.
Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.1)
Jump booster added: Go sky ward, recover from missed rails, find new connection points.
Player tags added: The player's start lane symbol is their tag. Tag sizing over distance will be improved in a future version.
Shader and geometry optimizations.
Ground level track adjustments, plus jump boosters placed in helpful areas.
Your fellow races now move more smoothly.
Arc Surfer Update (v0.4.0)
Arc Surfer update:
Version 0.4.0 released
We enhanced the tutorial to give better examples of using the Arc Board, including video (which will be updated soon).
The tutorial also explains the shield surrounding the board, which you are to stay behind for your own safety and board performance. The board shield has also been modified to be less intrusive.
The race track has been modified and enhanced at ground level.
