Version 1.18 is live!
Hi there,
This is the first update after the Release!
Big thanks to all of you who helped us by giving a detailed feedback and share a good opinion during the first days after the launch!
Here is the list of fixes and improvements in this version:
Fixes
World Map: if current stone is not active Play button is disabled
Small Chinese translation fixes
On second map (0_02) in case of using 21:9 resolution You can find all hidden objects now
Fixed bad field on map 3_04 (lava)
Fixed bad fields on map 2_06 (dam)
Map 3_06c has less solutions now (map state will be reset)
Bug with resetting music volume to 100% when entering some levels is fixed
Alf-F4 for exiting the game works now
Improvements
Added WIP language slots for testing translation (Czech, French, Spanish)
Space key and middle mouse button resets camera now
These are not all fixes from feedback - rest will be soon!
Important note:
We received a few messages that the scene in the game does not show (only fog is visible). Solution to this issue is:
1. in NVIDIA Control Panel - set anti-aliasing mode to application-controlled
2. and (in the case it not helps) upgrade NVIDIA drivers.

Notes on the Launch!
Hello, everyone!
Our game - Archaica: The Path of Light has launched a few hours ago. We've tried our best to make it a good game. Hope You like it!
Here are some facts that may interest you:
We are two brothers: Piotr (programmer) and Marcin (artist)
Piotr made 99% of the code, Marcin made 99% of the Art
Work on the game took us more than 3 years. It started with a simple idea that evolved over time. During this time Piotr created from scratch an engine and tools for this game (work on the engine started a bit earlier) and Marcin learned 3D modeling (also from scratch).
At the beginning we worked half-time, after a few months - full-time.
We deal with marketing, publishing and promotion ourselves
We had a special diet during the development: See here
Without the support of family making this game would not be possible!
And of course - many people helped us in various parts of the project!
If You like our game we would be very grateful for sharing information about it on social media and here on Steam.

In this version, we added support for the Russian language in the game. Also, we added descriptions on the Steam Store page in Chinese and Russian languages. Both these languages are now marked as supported on the Store page.

Chinese language support
We have big news for players from China - Archaica supports Simplified Chinese now! Note: it's still WIP and not all texts are translated. Also - this language is not marked as supported yet on Steam page. You can select it in Archaica Launcher and it is also recognized automatically (from Steam settings).
Really big thanks to Leon Wong for this translation!
And the list of game bugs fixed:
after returning to level (after solving it) camera will not move back and forward between the last two stages
map 5_03 is corrected (invalid field was marked as valid)
small audio rattle bugs fixes
Primal Well now is rotating when activated
UI glitch (for a moment) when entering to the Totem screen is fixed
UI glitch (for a moment) when showing End Level screen is fixed
audio options works instantly now (no need to leave options menu)

In this version, we fixed a few important things at the beginning of the game. Here is the list:
Game bugs fixed:
no shadows on Totem
showing Totem with 'null' achievement after first round (sometimes)
entering tutorial even if the Player selected 'No'
hints from earlier stages are cleared now (in multi-stages levels)
Known and still not resolved bugs:
Unfortunately this is still valid (and rare): sometimes game locks on incorrect camera in level making the game impossible to play - use RESET button from in-game popup menu in this case as a substitute solution.

Updated levels (now, these levels have only one solution):
Game bugs fixed:
added help texts for icons on the bottom of the screen (when playing a level for the second time)
it is not possible to take devices from further stages of the level now
another fix for bug with placing devices on incorrect places ;)
and minor visual fixes (Totem, Ending Scenes, Glowing signs from Aggregators)
Game improvements:
syncing profiles state by SteamCloud is active now
small tutorial update (more detailed texts)
when playing a level for the second time it is not possible to go to the next stage by clicking on Well of Light - You need to use buttons at the right bottom of the screen for this
some of the levels are fixed (see image); saved state for these levels will be reset

After a bit long break the next part of improvements is ready! Here is the list:
Launcher bugs fixed:
switching between UHD / FullHD resolutions causes rendering bug
Game bugs fixed:
found hints on game board doesn't show when you play level for the second time
text bug in some UI windows (with counting elements; 1 / 6 etc)
UI scaling for UHD resolutions
minor visual bugs are fixed (eg crystals material)
game End is imporoved (and a lot of bugs are fixed in this part of the game)
placing devices on incorrect places is impossible now
Game improvements:
loading times are shorter
game should be detected as a 'game application' on multi GPU laptops (and use better GPU by default)
