The last months, the last year were crazy. A journey of self-discovery, how to handle the pressure of creating something unique, to break even and to fullfill our promises.
But we're finally feeling comfortable pushing Arenus to it's release! This is also because we've got a talented Coder on board now who's helping us with technical issues.
Next month we'll be releasing the official demo for Arenus...
...and in June/July the final release!
Stay tuned!

Introducing KIWI
Not everyone is a fan of handholding in video games, some of you prefer to explore and figure out things on their own.
Because of that we came up with KIWI.
KIWI
KIWI is your personal AI companion. She'll be with you from the very start and is ready to help you on your path to become a warden.
At any time you'll be able to ask her for advice. Want to know how your gladiator is doing? Or where to go next to progress in your quest? Just ask KIWI and she'll be happy to oblige and help.
We've got the idea for KIWI during the process of adding tutorial like parts to the game. They break immersion, if you replay the game you get annoyed by them and some prefer having none at all.
But due the complexity of the game we can't just have one skippable tutorial at the very beginning. As you make your way through the arena, things change and new mechanics appear.
KIWI is our solution for those problems and yes, she has a bit of a personality.
We hope you're looking forward to meet KIWI and stay tuned for more news very soon!

State of the Game - May 2019
Hey folks!
Today we're going to talk a bit about the progress we made on Arenus in the last few months! We hope you're as excited as we are.
First of all, make sure to check out our new trailer above!
The Warden
Of course you, the warden, will be able to join battles outside of the Arena. It's confirmed now. But not only that, you'll also be able to customize your way of combat. Why? Because customization is fun and we hope you folks feel the same.
Right now there are three modules you can choose from. Modules are pretty much like classes in other RPGs. Fire, Thunder and Acid. We may add more if the time and budget allows it, but those three are set in stone.
The goal is that each of the modules allows for fun combos and synergy with your chosen gladiator.
The Gladiators
Our three gladiators are a main pillar of the game, so we're making sure that we can capture any possible emotion. Our lead artist Menoziriath created over 50+ new variations for them and they look great!
This doesn't only include different facial expressions but only different poses. On top of that you'll also see your favorite gladiator in completely new outfits from time to time.
This includes formal and casual clothes and of course some sexy lingerie.
Overall Arenus is making great progress as you can see. 2019 is going to be the year for Arenus and we're so excited to finally share the world we've built with you.
Stay tuned!

The Road So Far
Hello folks! Arvus Games has got an exciting new update for those of you eagerly awaiting more news on Arenus!
What’s New
The team decided that it was high time to show you a bit of what we have been working on these past few months. While we have been a bit mum on the subject so far, we have been making immense strides to bring you our newest and greatest gaming experience!
In the last few months, we have focused a lot on solidifying our grand vision for Arenus. To that end, we’ve expanded our artwork, scripts and gameplay beyond the original scope of the project.
We’ve done everything from revamping maps, to evolving designs of some of the foes that will challenge you in the Arena.
In addition, our artist Menoziriath has created a plethora of new character busts for the game, adding a wide range of emotional depth to the characters you will meet and interact with in the world. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous to look at, they also help to bring more nuance to each conversation you have with your trusted gladiator.
One of the next posts that we intend to make will be heavily focused on gameplay. This is something that Kaliyo has been working on tirelessly in the months since we locked down the foundations of Arenus. As always, we want to give a shout out to everyone who makes this project possible!
Stay tuned for more posts in the future! More news coming soon!
