Great promotion of Brazilian games on Steam
The “Made in Brazil Sale” takes place between the 18th and 23rd of February and has more than 500 titles!

Conceived by Eduardo Lamhut, developer of the company Bitcake Studio from Rio de Janeiro, the action emerged after the mobilization of studios and teams from all regions of the country. A great demonstration of the growth and maturity of the national industry.
Unprecedented and officially approved by the platform, the campaign means highlighting Brazilian games in the most popular space: the Steam homepage, thus promoting consumption and the dissemination of titles.
ÁRIDA is one of the games on the list, and with an 85% promotion it sees an opportunity to leverage its reach even further.

Promotion and lots of news!
First, we were invited to participate in an editorial for #WeArePlay, Google Play's international blog dedicated to telling the stories of people who create apps and games around the world.
Google went with a film crew to Bahia, where they stayed for a few days recording with us, in Salvador, and also in the backlands, especially in the city of Canudos, where we were able to present the game.
The second opportunity, also announced last week, is related to the result of companies selected for Google Play’s Indie Game Fund, an initiative that dedicated a total of U$ 2 million to promising game companies in Latin America.
With the investment we will be able to bring news to the game, in addition to a business structure that aims to take Aoca and ÁRIDA to a level not reached before!

2-year edition: there is a new update!
In celebration, we have a big update on Steam!
The first new feature is a digital artbook that we made with all the love for you!
We had no idea how much work it is to make a book, but it was an amazing experience.
There are more than 100 pages dedicated to behind the scenes at Aoca, with concepts, research and lots of fun facts about the creation of ARIDA 1, as well as exclusive details of our next game, ARIDA 2: Rise of the Brave!
We will soon have the physical version of this book for collectors!
We want to keep spreading ARIDA to the world, and that's why we localized it for the German, Russian, Chinese and Spanish languages, which join the Portuguese and English versions. 🌏🌵
We also made improvements in optimization, balancing, fixing some bugs, and making improvements for the movements and the camera. All from your feedbacks!
