We’re thrilled to announce that Foxus will be launching on February 27th.
The game will be available in English, Japanese, Russian and German language. We plan to bring more languages to the game in the future.
LAUNCH PRICING
Foxus debuts on Steam on February 27th for $9.99. For a limited time, anyone can get it at 20 percent off, bringing it down to $7.99. If you own another one of our games, that discount jumps up to 50 percent, and that brings Foxus' price down to just $4.99.

Dev Diary #4: Top Questions

In the first Dev Diary of the new year, we will answer some of your questions.
What is the game about?? Foxus is both a mainstream game and a personal artistic project. It's a very relaxing game. I think this is a fairy tale at its core.
How is the development progress so far? We’re very passionate about Foxus. There were late nights and many weekends spent working. But it feels great, because we love the game so much.
Lately, we were working on the new quest system, upgraded camera and new locations.
Will the game have loot boxes? Pitchforks and torches! No, it will not have loot boxes.
Will there be more than one biome? There are no classic biomes, this isn't open world game after all, and this has something to do with lore. But there are some nice surprises we can't speak about yet!
Are there companions in this game? No, there never were such plans.
Will there be skins for the fox? I don't know if we'll have enough time to work on this feature.
What about press and streamers? We saw your emails, and we'll get back to you soon!
How can I help the team? Thank you! Please support us and spread the word about the game, make sure your friends know about it!

Foxus. Dev Diary #3
Hello, everyone!
New Dev Diary is finally here, and so get ready for the big news!
First and foremost, the game is scheduled for release in early 2018. We're lucky to have such large and growing community. We want you to enjoy the holidays while we are working on the project.
Some of you were also wondering about the price. Well, we haven't decided on it yet! As always, the price would be fair, what else could I say? We are also planning to provide the Collector's Edition with some extras for our fans.
Second - and this is really important for us - we had to spend last 3 months on securing a way to publish Foxus. That's why we had to postpone any updates. And that's why there are no new trailers by far. We just haven't got enough time to work on any new cinematic.
Business is hard, but in the end everything went well.
Third, Foxus is most likely going to be the final name for the game. Arlandria was just a codename, and since everyone was just calling it "the fox game", we just went with the flow.
Last, the game's design was already signed off several months ago, and we just need to move forward now.
Next time we'll meet, I'll share more information about the game and answer some more of your questions.

Foxus. Dev Diary #2
Dear players,
It's been a long time since the last update. How's everyone?
Firstly, thank you for the patience. You already know that games have a ton of work that needs to be done in order to produce them. Our approach to software products, including games, is to try to build the best game we can as fast as we can. We're trying to make our games feel unique and valuable for our players, we want them to have fun, and we're doing our best and working hard on Foxus.
We had a huge backlog of tasks to work on this summer. I was working mostly on the business and development side of things.
The early builds of Foxus were running on Windows 7. We had recently switched to Windows 10 for development, and it had some significant benefits such as switching to the up-to-date software and speeding up tools which we use daily.
That allowed us to work on several game's locations while designing core game systems. Story and NPCs writing also took quite a lot of our time in the past two months, but it was lots of fun writing dialogues.
In the meantime, I've learned a lot of new exciting things, and even have written and published several articles about programming and C++ development.
Finally, we'd like to also thank everyone who took their part in the VM Community and shared their thoughts on our games with us. This was important step to us in learning how to build communities of players and interact with them. Your valuable feedback helped us to improve our games, and you'll be remembered by thousands of other players.
There are many questions about Foxus which are still left without answers. We'll get back to them in the future diaries, so stay tuned.

First of all, thank you for your support. The game has already gathered over 4000 supporters, and a lot of positive attention. We're all very excited about Arlandria! Now it’s time for Development Diary #1!
Today we’re going to share some news about the development progress and answer the questions you've asked earlier.
We're heavily into production with Arlandria right now, and it's very intense. We can try some things that we usually wouldn't do, and we have an opportunity to make something really unique. I love the way the game turns out, because Arlandria is a game focusing on exploration, but it also has plenty of action and adventures. We know it's important to our fans.
In May, we’ve spent quite a bit of time on learning from the experience of our colleagues at Bethesda Softworks and Ubisoft on how to approach world building, and now we’re applying those lessons to the world of Arlandria. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy discovering it as much as we’re enjoying creating it.
We’re also working on AI, game’s optimization and other improvements. We have already improved lighting and keep working on improving terrain for even better looks and performance.
Currently, no release date is set yet. We'll keep adding new content and sharing the news with you in the future.
