Armed with Wings Rearmed update 1.0.5 is live on Steam! This is the first update I've published in 25 months... go me!
- Playable Vampire Strike Hand
- New Juggle Mode
The Vampire Strike Hand is a mighty hand that taps it's index and middle finger to strike foes. It's a 1000 year old Podcast Beyond joke.
The Juggle Mode is like a practice arena that keeps track of your combo. You can reset the score by swapping to the eagle.
Both of these features may or may not have been available at some point during the games Early Access. I can't remember clearly.
Perhaps the Juggle mode was included in a beta - but now it's live for everyone.
You might find that swapping to the eagle to reset the juggle score is kinda weird. I kindly ask you to understand that I couldn't be bothered to find a place to insert visual instructions and I wanted to get this update out quickly.
I'm starting to feel creatively empowered again, I plan to write a lengthy blog post about that. Although Armed with Wings Rearmed was launched in July 2017 as a finished product, I think there is still some room for improvement.
Potential fixes could include fixing the steam achievements, as some might've been broken for 25 months. Also it appears the shift+tab steam overlay isn't working... but that might not be fixable.
By the way, those crap head publishers I signed with to get Rearmed onto consoles recently told me they won't be doing it and terminated the contract... so screw them for wasting my time and for blocking my publishing rights to consoles.
I should've known better than to sign with a company called Nnooo.

Version 1.0.4 is Live!
Version 1.0.4 has just gone live on Steam, time to update your Armed with Wings! This update addresses a number of bugs reported by the community - that you for you help everyone! This update also re-balances Survival mode.
I felt that Survival mode takes too long to become challenging. Survival is now dramatically more difficult. Difficulty selection for survival is no longer an option. Enemies will transition into 'futile' after wave 4.
To further complement the survival changes, I've setup a leaderboards page on Steam! Scores are automatically submitted to the board as long as you don't quit mid session.

Rearmed Launches on June 1st
Armed with Wings is finally exiting it's 2 year long early access beta. The full release (v1.0) is launching onto to Steam on:

Armed with Wings: Rearmed is now in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Today Publisher Nnooo announces partnership with Sun-Studios to bring the indie title to consoles. Additionally, the game is being assessed for a potential Nintendo Switch version.
