Object 195
The Object 195 Main Battle Tank is one of the 1980s Soviet supertanks, intended to fight the next generation of NATO MBTs. It was developed in Nizhny Tagil by the experienced Uralvagonzavod design bureau (UKBTM), which was responsible for such legendary tanks as the T-72 and T-90. Much like other such prototypes, it was designed to be armed with massive 152mm smoothbore cannon in an unmanned turret. A single prototype was built and it allegedly passed state trials between 2008 and 2010 but the project was discontinued due to a lack of financing. In Armored Warfare, the Object 195 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank and one of the most versatile vehicles you can get your hands on thanks to a combination of excellent armor, unmanned turret, 152mm hard-hitting gun and one special feature – the coaxial 30mm autocannon that allows you to take out unarmored targets without having to waste a shot of your main weapon.

Type 99A2-140
The Type 99A2-140 is an experimental version of the most advanced Chinese Main Battle Tank in existence – the Type 99A. Unlike its production counterpart, however, it is not armed with a 125mm smoothbore, but massive 140mm smoothbore cannon. This is a theoretical upgrade to the vehicle – while the People’s Republic of China was considering upgrading the firepower of its Main Battle Tanks to face latest western and Russian MBT models, a 140mm gun was never installed on this chassis and was only mentioned in passing by certain Chinese sources. Now, however, your enemies will have the opportunity to experience what such a vehicle with you in command would be like to face in battle!
In Armored Warfare, the Type 99A2-140 is a rather unique Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is essentially a version of the progression Type 99A2 Tier 10 MBT with one difference – the 140mm gun, trading its rate of fire for penetration and single shell damage. It is very fast and mobile (with its maximum speed being well over 90 km/h), protected by ERA and APS both and capable of using an acceleration-boosting active ability that pushes its engine far beyond the limits of common Main Battle Tanks. If used right, the vehicle is extremely deadly and one of the best Tier 10 MBTs on the battlefields of Armored Warfare.

In order to participate, all you need to do is one of the following things:
The amount you get back is calculated based on your spending and is modified by appropriate coefficients. The more you spend, the more you get back – up to a certain limit.
The coefficients are calculated as such:
For every 1 EUR (or USD) spent, you get 66 Gold back
For every 1 Gold spent, you get 0.25 Gold back (so 25 Gold back for 100 Gold spent and so on)
At most you can spend 75 EUR or USD during the event (which would give you 4.950 Gold back)
At most you can spend 9.000 Gold during the event (which would give you 2.250 Gold back)
You can at most get 7.200 Gold back by combining both methods.
What’s the maximum amount I can get back (the limit)?

When will I get the Gold back?
Within several work days from the end of the event.

KF51 Panther
The KF51 Panther Main Battle Tank first appeared in 2022 as a demonstrator of Rheinmetall’s capabilities, mating a modified Leopard 2 hull with a brand-new turret armed not only with cutting edge weaponry, but also a missile launcher. The Panther is one of western next-gen MBT projects, much like the EMBT and the next-generation Abrams. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the KF51 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. The KF51 Panther is at its core a medium-range vehicle with reliable armor and solid firepower that, in addition to its 130mm gun and NERA armor, boasts a powerful missile launcher. This combination makes it one of the most powerful MBTs you can encounter in the game.
In the future, the vehicle will receive an optional module allowing the Panther to use the Hero-120 drones instead of missiles.

EMBT
The Enhanced Main Battle Tank (EMBT) is a future MBT demonstrator developed over the course of several years as cooperation between the Germany (KMW) and the French (Nexter). It features a heavily modified Leopard 2 hull with a brand-new turret unveiled in 2022 during the Eurosatory 2022 expo in Paris. Our version of the tank is armed with 140mm ASCALON gun. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the EMBT is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. Extreme accuracy and firepower are its domain as it features an incredibly powerful 140mm gun and a special ability called Machine Learning that increases the kinetic round penetration with each shot (up to three times). In its medium range support vehicle role, this tank has few equals thanks to the abovementioned ability and the availability of top-attack HEAT rounds.

Obsidian Blade Bundle (ZTZ-20)
Skins rarely go more epic than this. The Obsidian Blade is a unique Main Battle Tank of unknown origin and David Murdoch's personal war chariot. As its name suggests, the tank’s surface us covered with a layer of obsidian. The cracks in the layer are filled with pure gold, as befitting a man of his influence. This skin also features unique visual effects such as the glowing coolant vapors coming out from underneath its armor. Leopard 2 Revolution
The Leopard 2 Revolution is a continuation of the older Evolution upgrade, intended to improve the performance of the older variants of the Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank in order to make it excel even on the battlefields of the 21st century. In Armored Warfare, the Leopard 2 Revolution is a Tier 8 Main Battle Tank. It is not only well-armored, it also features an extremely accurate 120mm gun with advanced ammunition, allowing it to destroy its opponents at very long ranges, rivaling those of Tank Destroyers. Leclerc T40
Sometimes called the French Terminator, this vehicle was designed on the Leclerc MBT chassis with one purpose in mind – to accompany tanks and fight off infantry attacks the same way as the Russian BMPT series does. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Leclerc T40 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. It offers you a combination of a durable hull, rapid-fire 40mm automatic cannon and, most importantly, the Javelin missile system. Simply right-click the target, wait until it becomes locket and fire the Javelin ATGM – it will home itself on the target, attacking its weak roof armor. Thanks to this ability, the Leclerc T40 is one of the most destructive vehicles in the game.

Marder 2
The Marder 2 was an experimental German IFV, developed in the late 1980s to replace the aging Marder IFV. It featured more armor, a new turret and a brand-new Rheinmetall dual-caliber autocannon that could fire both 35mm and 50mm rounds. Despite its qualities, the vehicle was never accepted in service due to its high cost and because it was no longer needed because of the fall of the Soviet Union. A single surviving prototype can be found today in the Koblenz military collection. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Marder 2 is a Tier 8 Armored Fighting Vehicle. With its 44 tons, it’s one of the heaviest and toughest AFVs around. Unlike many other AFVs of its Tier, it is not armed with guided missiles, relying instead on its extremely powerful 50mm autocannon. This vehicle can also deploy Mechanized Infantry.

AbramsX
AbramsX is an advanced technology demonstrator. It was built as a private venture by General Dynamics Land Systems and unveiled in 2022 to show what the future of the Abrams MBT could look like. It is considerably lighter than a fully upgraded Abrams while retaining its protection levels and firepower thanks to its cutting edge systems. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the AbramsX is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While still maintaining the basic Abrams line features such as a 120mm gun, it is considerably lighter and less armored. On the other hand it is also faster, more agile, stealthier, and features a 30mm autocannon that can reduce most light vehicles to a pile of scrap in seconds thanks to its new ammunition. As a result, this tank can dish out a lot of damage but requires careful and skilled gameplay.

Altay
The Altay is the result of a Turkish program to build a true indigenous MBT. After a decade of development with hundreds of millions of dollars spent, Turkey finally achieved its goal and built a tank that is roughly on par in performance with decades-old Leopard 2 variants while it still uses many foreign components, including some of its most critical systems. Nevertheless, future Altay variants are expected to feature some cutting edge components.
In Armored Warfare, the Altay is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank based on the current prototypes, but also upgraded by various hypothetical aftermarket components of the future to surpass its current capabilities and to match its assigned Tier in power. The basic tank is – gameplay-wise – a mobile sniper, much like the Leopard 2 series, relying on its mobility and the penetration of its shells rather than on its armor. There are two key features to this tank: Adjustable Suspension (tilting forward and to the side) and Hybrid Engine with its distinctive electric sound, giving the vehicle excellent mobility and agility.

Object 640
The Object 640 is one of the last Soviet era “super tank” monsters, designed to surpass anything the west could field on the battlefield. It featured extremely advanced armor, making it highly resistant to hits while keeping its weight low. The design was truly revolutionary for the late 1980s, but, like with many other Soviet projects of the era, it was discontinued due to the lack of funding. In Armored Warfare, the Object 640 “Black Eagle” is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is a fast, agile and well-protected vehicle that plays in a typical Russian-style MBT fashion – ideal for players who want to take things up close and personal. ZTZ-20
The ZTZ-20 is a fictional Chinese Main Battle Tank for the 21st century. It combines western influences with some ideas taken from the T-14 Armata. You can read about its (real and fictional) history in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the ZTZ-20 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. On its own, it’s a beast of a machine and one of the most powerful vehicles in the game, featuring both a powerful gun and thick armor. It does have a special feature though – its missiles can cover a wide area with burning White Phosphorus that reduces enemy vehicle camouflage and deals damage to anyone entering the zone.

Boxer CRV
The Boxer CRV is the Infantry Fighting Vehicle variant of the Boxer platform, featuring a cutting edge turret with 30mm autocannon and guided missiles. It is a truly next-gen IFV with orders coming from all over the world, most notably from Australia and Germany. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Boxer CRV is a Tier 9 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. It is one of the best IFVs in its class, offering a combination of solid mobility and great firepower, including Mechanized Infantry deployment and the dreaded double-launch ATGM feature.

VT-5
The VT-5 is a modern Chinese Light Tank that was developed specifically with export in mind. There are many reasons why a country without its own tank development should opt to purchase a Light Tank instead of a full-scale Main Battle Tank. It’s equally as fast if not faster with equal firepower but, what is most important, it is affordable. The VT-5 excels in all these categories. While its armor cannot match that of an MBT, it can protect its crew against most infantry threats thanks to its ERA and cage armor sets. It also has a powerful 105mm gun capable of firing guided missiles, it is packed with advanced electronics and is supremely agile thanks to its 1000hp diesel engine. In Armored Warfare, the VT-5 is a very powerful Tier 9 Premium Light Tank. Fast and agile, it features solid levels of protection (the configuration in the game is the one featuring the ERA kit as well as the turret cage armor) and a good rate of fire. Additionally, its gun is capable of firing guided missiles. It’s an ideal machine for players who value speed and agility, as it offers plenty of both. The VT-5 is capable of dancing around its opponents on the battlefield, outperforming even some AFVs in mobility.

QN-506
The QN-506 fire support vehicle is a Chinese attempt to design a cheap, export-oriented alternative to the Russian BMPT series. Instead of converting a second or third generation MBT, the engineers at Wuhan Guide Infrared Co., Ltd., likely to keep the vehicle as affordable as possible, opted to base their project on the Type 59 MBT, which is, in its basic form anyway, a copy of the old Soviet T-55 medium tank from the late 1950s. They jam-packed it with cutting edge electronics and a number of weapon systems, including ATGMs, an automatic cannon or smaller caliber rockets. However, despite the use of an unmanned turret, the protection levels of this vehicle are still quite low and, so far, there haven’t been any signs of interest in the QN-506. In Armored Warfare, the QN-506 is a Premium Tier 9 Tank Destroyer that gameplay-wise resembles the popular BMPT series. However, unlike the Russian Terminators, it has a number of interesting features including tree different weapon systems (30mm cannon, 70mm unguided rockets and 151mm ATGMs) and loitering recon ammunition flying towards the end of a map and spotting everything in its path. The last ability is unique to the QN-506 and makes it one of the most potent support vehicles on the battlefield.

Type 96B
The Type 96B MBT, as its name suggests, is an evolution of the Type 96A, featuring such elements as an upgraded fire control system and a much more powerful engine, resulting in considerably better mobility and speed. Unlike the Type 96A, however, the Type 96B is a prototype, designed for the Chinese military team to use during the annual Tank Biathlon event in Russia. In 2017, the Chinese team won the second place, being defeated only by Russia. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!
In Armored Warfare, the Type 96B is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it’s very agile and fast for its class and uses advanced ammunition, making it highly suitable for players who prefer mobility over armor protection, even though it can take a lot of punishment as well.

Coming soon: Cold as Ice

Is your heart cold as ice right about now from all that chilly weather? Allow us to warm it up with a special event featuring Seahawks Battle Coins and other great things.
This event will start tomorrow morning and will be available until January 12, 2025. Its rules are, once again, very simple. You can participate simply by destroying 5 enemy vehicles in PvE (or 1 in PvP) every day (while driving a Tier 3 vehicle or higher) in order to receive a reward.
But what is the theme, you might ask? Well, dear players, it’s you. All those times you posted things like “wouldn’t it be nice if we had this flag or that decal” and thought we couldn’t possibly be listening? As it turns out, were in fact were – and here’s the evidence. Let’s take a look at some of the prizes:
Cheese camouflage – all those times you likened Object 490 to a slice of cheese? Well, now you can.
Ice Storm camouflage – this wasn’t requested by you per se, but it still is a very nice pattern.
Flag of Yugoslavia – both a decal and a flag, as requested quite a few times.
Googly Eyes – this decal is just perfect for the Abrams, isn’t it?
White Lancers – at long last, the emblem of this Polish PMC from Armored Warfare lore is making an appearance. That one is a real blast from the past.
