As we already announced, the next Contract will feature the Ukrainian T-64BV Main Battle Tank. But contracts do feature other prizes as well, which are available for completing Contract Missions. And this time, the prizes will be five Ukrainian camouflages.
Let’s start with the basic Ukrainian digital camouflage (Model 2015). Before 2014 and the conflict that rose therefrom, Ukraine was largely using camouflages similar to Russia. The reason for it is that both countries’ military came from Soviet roots (in this case the Soviet camouflage manuals). After the political changes that followed the events of 2014 and the subsequent conflict in Donbas, Ukraine’s military started looking more towards the West, eager to shed its Soviet legacy.
One aspect of these changes was the adoption of a digital camouflage consisting of green background with black and yellow “digital” squares (their side being roughly 10cm wide) that, at close distances, break the silhouette of vehicles while, at long distances, they create the same effect as a classic “spot” camouflage. This pattern likely first appeared in public during the Day of the Defender of Ukraine parade in Kiev on October 15, 2015.
Despite being visually attractive, the first pattern didn’t work quite as well as many hoped, which is why, in 2016, it was replaced by the Ukrainian digital camouflage (Model 2016). This pattern made the black and yellow zones a bit more sparse and added a new color – brown.
This pattern apparently was more successful and remains in service to this day. Most Ukrainian vehicles bear this camouflage.
The final iteration of the camouflage came five years later. The Ukrainian digital camouflage (Model 2021) was shown to the public on August 24, 2021 during the Day of Independence of Ukraine military parade in Kiev.
This pattern seems denser with three shades of green and light yellow color being present. A number of modern Ukrainian armored vehicles were painted with it but with the war less than six months away at that point, Ukraine likely never had the chance to truly deploy it en masse.
Aside from these three, we have two other interesting camouflages for you. The first one is the rather interesting ZhBTZ camouflage.
This is not a real combat camouflage, it’s a factory paint job pattern created by the Zhitomir Armor Plant (Zhitomirskiy Bronetankovyi Zavod, ZhBTZ in short) in order to promote their prototypes and production vehicles such as various BMP-1 upgrades (such as the BMP-1U Shkval). The camouflage likely first appeared in the September of 2015 at a military expo in Kiev.
The final camouflage we call Ukrainian (Stripes). This is a variant of an older Soviet pattern (in desert colors) that most notably appeared on various T-64-based prototypes such as the BMPT-64. This camouflage was first noticed roughly around 2007 but has since appeared on numerous vehicles.
And that’s what we have for you in this contract. We hope that you’ll enjoy these camouflages and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!
Wishlist Games Transfer: Steam
Commanders!
With the initial part of the account transfer complete, the time has come to address the situation of Steam users.
We’d like to inform you that the Steam user transfer will, as previously announced, proceed automatically. There is no need for you to transfer your account in any manual way.
Furthermore, based on your feedback, we are integrating the game with Steam. What this means is that, in the future, you’ll be able to download game updates not via the WLG launcher, but via Steam directly.
However, there’s a catch. Unfortunately, due to this dramatic change of the system, Steam users will have to re-download the game client from scratch this one time.
We apologize for the inconvenience but there is simply no way around it.
Please note: We strongly suggest not to attempt to find any workarounds that seemingly work because your client would break with the next update.
As for our Wishlist Launcher users:
We are hard at work fixing the bugs you reported, improving the download speed of the game and, last but not least, adding new features such as multi-account support to the launcher. We’d like to thank you for your reports as well as your continued support and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!
September Calendar
We are pleased to present our September Wallpaper, available in a number of different sizes to fit your PC's monitor!
Between September 5, 2024 and September 12, 2024, the following items will be available:
BMP-1P Spetsaz Skin
The skin for the BMP-1P Tier 4 AFV is based on a BMP-1 belonging to the 101st Special Operations Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, as seen during the Battle of Grozny in 1996. You can read more in our dedicated article.
The skin is available as a part of the Spetsnaz Bundle, which contains the following items:
Skin: Spetsnaz
Russian (Interior Forces) camouflage
3 Platinum Loot Crates
500 Gold
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
TOS-1M Buratino
The TOS-1M Buratino is a prototype version of the Russian TOS-1/TOS-1A heavy rocket launcher. It was designed in 1997 at Omsk as an improvement to the old TOS-1 whose roots go back all the way to the Afghan War. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the TOS-1M Buratino is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. As befits its massive rocket launcher installed on the top of a T-90A MBT chassis, its firepower is all but unparalleled and you are looking at perhaps the most destructive vehicle of Armored Warfare. It is available in two configurations – with fast-launching 122mm rockets and the iconic 220mm rockets that can be unlocked either by installing a skin (Koshmar), or by progressing through an active Battle Path.
The TOS-1M is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
Armata 152
The Armata 152 is a version of the T-14 Armata, armed with larger cannon. One of the upgrades considered for the T-14 Armata was the increase of its caliber to 152mm in order to absolutely, positively destroy anything with the first shot. The 2A83 smoothbore is a behemoth of a gun, designed in the last days of the Soviet empire for the next generation of super-tanks. It’s massive, heavy and quite costly to produce, but, most importantly, it was never truly needed to deal with the western MBTs since the standard 125mm guns were (and still are) up to the task. That is why it never found its way on any Soviet MBT with even the standard T-14 Armata being armed with an improved 125mm cannon. You can, however, experience its awesome firepower in Armored Warfare! Learn more about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the T-14 Armata 152 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While not firing as fast as its 125mm counterpart, the 152mm rounds do enormous damage, often eliminating weaker opponents with a single shot. And then there’s the platform itself – the Armata, the most modern Main Battle Tank in the world. Earn it and use it to dominate!
The Armata 152 Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
Koshmar Bundle
Additionally, we've prepared a skin bundle with a new skin. The skin “Koshmar” we have prepared for you is for the TOS-1M Tier 10 Premium TD. Not only is it cool looking, it also unlocks the overprogression modules for you, including the 220mm turret and the 220mm thermobaric rockets. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
The skin is available as a part of the Koshmar Bundle, which contains the following items:
Skin: TOS-1M Koshmar
3 Platinum Loot Crates
500 Gold
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Kurganets-25
The Kurganets-25 Infantry Fighting Vehicle is intended as a cutting edge future replacement to the old BMP series in Russian service. While not as chunky and expensive as the T-15 Armata super-heavy IFV, it’s designed to finally offer the 21st century protection levels the Russian military has been demanding for a long time. However, the design turned out to be quite expensive and while it is currently undergoing state trials, it is unlikely to be ever mass-produced. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Kurganets-25 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Even though it offers decent protection and mobility for its class, this vehicle is all about firepower. To make sure you always have the right tool for the job, it comes with three distinctive weapon systems – a 57mm autocannon for light targets, fast and small Bulat missiles for highly mobile targets and, finally, full-sized ATGMs that can defeat pretty much anything on the battlefield. If dealing damage is your thing, few vehicles will match your playstyle better.
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Msta-S
The Msta-S SPG was developed as a replacement to the older 2S3 Akatsiya. The goal was to match (or surpass) the newly developed NATO artillery pieces with long 155mm guns. The production began in 1988 and is currently ongoing with a modernized variant rolling out for the Russian military. More than 500 Msta-S SPGs are still in Russian service and dozens were exported to several other countries. It has seen some combat during the Second Chechen War and the War in Donbass. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Msta-S is a Tier 9 Self-Propelled Gun, which makes it only usable in the Global Operations mode and in PvE. It comes with two shell types – a slow-flying one with a high flight arc, and a fast-flying one for use against more mobile targets.
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Khrizantema-S
The Khrizantema-S is a dedicated tank hunter, built on a modified BMP-3 hull. The first Khrizantema-S prototype appeared in public as early as 1996 with the initial production variant (9P157) entering service in 2005. Around 2010, an upgraded variant called 9P157-2 appeared with a modernized Ukrainian optics system and a hull machinegun the original model lacked. This variant was in use until 2017. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Khizantema-S is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is quite a stealthy vehicle armed with a twin ATGM launcher. The key to achieving excellent results with this machine is long-range ATGM sniping followed by rapid relocation. The missiles are quite powerful and make hits easy thanks to their excellent performance.
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Gadyuka
The Gadyuka (“Viper”) is a Soviet-era fire support vehicle consisting of a T-72A hull and turret but instead of the main gun, the vehicle is armed with two 30mm autocannons and two rocket pods in order to perform better against infantry in urban and mountainous environments. A single prototype was built in 1996 and even though the project was cancelled, it eventually led to the rise of the BMPT Terminator series. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Gadyuka is a Tier 6 Premium Tank Destroyer. Despite having only average protection, its two 30mm autocannons can, along with deadly rocket salvos, rip through enemy vehicles with ease. Indeed, the Gadyuka is one of the most destructive vehicles of its Tier and a worthy addition to every player’s arsenal.
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Pile of Gold
We also have the Pile of Gold Loot Crate for you. This Loot Crate contains copious amounts of Gold for you to win.
This Loot Crate includes:
250.000 Gold
100.000 Gold
50.000 Gold

5.000 Gold
1.000 Gold
500 Gold
100 Gold
This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!

In Development: T-64BV Mod.2017
Commanders!
The AS90 contract is slowly coming to an end and will be replaced in September by another featuring a new vehicle. This time, you’ll have the opportunity to obtain the Ukrainian T-64BV Model 2017 Main Battle Tank.
As usual, a bit of history first. This Main Battle Tank is one of the latest upgrades of the Soviet era T-64BV, which was roughly an equivalent in combat value to the T-72B. However, where the T-72 series was generally available for export (or license production), the T-64s remained in internal service only. The T-64B was also upgraded with an ERA kit, hence the letter V in its name.
After the breakup of the Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited a large number of T-64s as they were produced in Kharkov (and nowhere else). With the tooling and production available, it made perfect sense for them to keep them in service.
The T-64BV Model 2017 Main Battle Tank is a modernized version of the T-64BV MBT. The tank was gradually upgraded with several major overhauls developed in the 2000s but the general lack of funding has always prevented Ukraine from adopting expensive modernizations or new MBTs (such as BM Bulat or the Oplot MBT) en masse. Instead, gradual and more affordable improvements to the T-64B MBT were introduced with Model 2017 being one of the main ones.
The main upgrades include the Nizh ERA fillers (said to be effective even against kinetic rounds) replacing the old Kontakt series, new thermal imager, new satellite navigation system, new radio and several other improvements.
The production of this model was launched in 2017 and roughly 100 tanks of this type were delivered to the Ukrainian military between 2017 and 2019 (Ukraine being the only user of this model aside from several captured pieces in Russian service). The production is ongoing with the estimates ranging from 120 to 150 built to date. Performance-wise, the T-64BV Mod.2017 remains the workhorse of the Ukrainian military despite having the same vulnerabilities to drone and ATGM attacks as the other Soviet-era MBTS and the subsequent heavy losses.
In Armored Warfare, the T-64BV Mod.2017 will be a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank.
Gameplay-wise, it’s a classic “Eastern” Main Battle Tank with Generation 3+ ERA (Nizh) replacing the older Kontakt-1. The ERA-covered parts will therefore be better protected than on the counterparts of the same Tier but the baseline armor will not be very thick.
The firepower will consist of an automatically loaded 125mm 2A46M-1 cannon that can fire the usual rounds for its Tier (3VBM17 APFSDS, 3VBK10 HEAT and 3VOF22 HE) but also gun-launched guided missiles – namely the Kobra and Kombat (the latter being a tandem HEAT ATGM available as an upgrade for completing contract missions).
Due to its relatively low weight and a powerful 700hp 5TDF diesel engine (which can be upgraded even further to 850hp 5TDFM), the vehicle will be fairly mobile, significantly surpassing the T-72B3 in its top configuration.
In short, it’ll be an assault tank. Frontally it’ll be relatively well-protected due to its advanced ERA kit. Flanking attacks will destroy it quickly but if you play your cards right (or, rather, your MBT), the enemy will never get a chance to do that due to T-64BV’s superior mobility. While the vehicle does not offer any particular special abilities, even its stock characteristics will make it a feared opponent on the battlefield.
We are naturally also working on other contract prizes including a number of Ukrainian camouflages, but we'll tell you about those a bit later.
See you on the battlefield!
Wishlist Games Launcher and Account Transfer: Now Live
Commanders!
As per previous announcements, we are currently moving away from MY.GAMES and are transferring to a new system called Wishlist Games ID.
What does that mean for you is the following:
Starting today, the account transfer is mandatory to continue playing Armored Warfare. The process is available until January 2025. However, all active players should be transferred until the end of this week
MY.GAMES launcher is no longer available, the use of Wishlist Games launcher is mandatory
Steam and Epic Game Store players have the transfer and installation process automated (simply run the game via Steam), the process will take place this week
How to transfer your account (if you haven’t already)
This section is only relevant to players who have not transferred the account yet. Open the MY.GAMES launcher as usual. A pop-up window will appear with the prompt to begin the transfer.
You will need to choose a new e-mail for your account (which can be the same as the old one), after which you’ll receive a code and will authorize the transfer. Simply follow the instructions provided.
Please note: Steam and Epic Game Store accounts will have this process automated and will not require a manual transfer.
How to start using the new launcher
Important: Do NOT immediately uninstall the MY.GAMES launcher! This would automatically delete the game files and you’d have to download them from scratch.
First, download and install the launcher using this link.
You can install the launcher anywhere you want but please do not install it into your existing MY.GAMES folder.
Next, log in using the e-mail you transferred your account to. You do not need a password – you will receive a login code to that very e-mail. Next, the launcher will ask you to provide the location of the game. This needs to be done manually as the default one will likely not be correct.
Please note:
You can select the existing game location but this will only work if you don’t uninstall the MY.GAMES launcher application (just leave things as they are) If you intend to uninstall the MY.GAMES launcher application, please make sure you move the game folder to a different one as uninstalling the MY.GAMES launcher deletes all folders of installed (former) MY.GAMES products (simply copy the game to a different folder) Alternatively, you can download the game from scratch. However, please note that a full client download is roughly 60GB of data.
When the game folder is selected, a small update will download and you can resume playing Armored Warfare. Unfortunately, you’ll have to set your in-game Settings anew as those are not possible to transfer.
Transfer Gift
As we promised before, we have a special transfer gift for you. If you log in using the Wishlist Games launcher between August 29 and September 30, 2024, you will receive the French Dark Green paint that will not become obtainable by any other means.
Not enough? No worries, you will receive another gift a bit later on. Please note, however, that the gift will take some time to arrive.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the account transfer and why is it happening?
Armored Warfare is leaving the My.Games platform and is going independent. In order to do that, we need you to transfer your accounts from the My.Games system to our (Wishlist Games) system. The reasons are explained in this article.
What happens if I don’t transfer right now?
The account will not go anywhere (at least not until 2025) but you will not be able to play Armored Warfare without transferring it and using the new launcher. The option to transfer the old account to a new one will expire in early 2025.
My account e-mail is very old and I lost access to it. What do I do?
You do not need to access your old e-mail to complete the transfer. Follow the steps in this article and during the first step where you are required to enter your e-mail, just put a new email there (one that you have access to). As long as you can login to the game (know the old e-mail and the password to your game account), you will be able to complete the transfer.
What if I lost the old e-mail AND the game account password?
That’s a more complicated situation and you have to contact Support. You will be asked to provide some proof of your account’s ownership so please be ready to provide that.
What if I have multiple accounts? Can they be combined into one during the transfer?
No. Each account has to be transferred separately to a different e-mail.
What if I am logging in via Facebook or other third party services?
It’s no problem for the transfer; just follow the usual steps and authorize the transfer via the My.Games launcher as usual using your old login. But the new launcher only supports logging in via e-mail, so please have one ready.
I transferred the account, logged into it and my account is now empty!
There are several reasons why this would have happened. The most common one is that you are trying to log in using a different e-mail than you used to transfer your MY.GAMES account. Please check your e-mails to see which one was it and try logging in using the correct e-mail.
The second typical reason is that you have multiple accounts and you transferred the “wrong” one. Please try to carefully verify you are logged in the correct account and then repeat the transfer process (and, of course, make sure that you are logging to the transferred account using the Wishlist Games launcher).
Another (rather rare) reason for this would be that you were using Gmail (or Twitch or other third party platform) as login method, which is not the same as logging in via e-mail. Please take this into account as well and first see what kind of login you are using.
The verification or code e-mail didn’t arrive, what do I do?
For one, please wait several hours. Secondly, check the Spam folder – sometimes it ends up there. If it didn’t arrive even in Spam and within 24 hours, please contact Support. Our Support Service can be contacted here.
Where is the Daily Bonus?
Daily bonus is currently not available in the Wishlist Games launcher. In the future, it will re-appear directly in the game.
How can I save multiple accounts?
This feature is currently not available. After you transfer all your accounts (each needs to be transferred separately), please use their respective login e-mails to access them.
Thank you for staying with us during this exciting time and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!
