As I'm sure most of you encountered, the terrible issue with UE5 and it's Lumen, Well no longer will there be a dedicated branch to switch over to disable lumen you can now do that inside your settings, by default it is off, if your computer can handle the use of lumen then feel free to enable it in the settings panel and with this new update the store front is being updated too to match PNA and the new game direction
Montana was placed on hold until a new map can be redeveloped for it as the current one can't be converted to world partition and the size is a bit extreme. Some of the other features planned for PNA is on hold until part 1 of this update is polished off and stable and I receive more feedback on the current update. Elira is going to be the main development footprint for the entire update, so Dieting, Temperature, etc. will all be test ran and polished off inside that map before expanding to any other maps/options. PNA is not the only feature pack that will be developed, so Tigers, Leopards, Orcas, Lions etc. will have their own set of feature packs, servers can enable what pack they want to use in their server options. Sandbox can use any of the animals. This update is to pull back the animal count to properly redevelop everything and help be more stable and have a purpose, it's not realistic to have Tigers in a North American theme map. So as you can imagine there will be a Jungle, Ocean, Mixed, Safari etc. As for the Ocean area I mentioned that will actually be a artic setting with creatures like polar bear, walrus, penguins, orcas, sharks, sea lions etc. enjoy this first iteration and direction change there's a lot more to come

A complete direction change is in phase to aim the game towards a North American styled game. other creatures like the Tiger, Leopard etc. will have their own domain in the time to come, but for now this is the new direction of the game

So, to stat things off a lot of stuff is going to be changed, Eagles are on the way back in, and now we have new aquatic animals. Orca's and Great White Sharks.

This map has a tropical coastal section which has dozens of nesting spots for eagles and any other flying creatures that make their way into the game

As you can see there is currently a new map being designed around these new animals, Eagles, Orcas and snakes. Inside the Jungle biome is where you can find most of the snakes, these snakes can poison a player and result in a slow death if they do not find a way to recover from the bite (Cliche, but you guessed it, it's plants)

Currently I have Fish AI being worked on, Rabbit AI and Snake AI. New plants will be added to help remove the poison effects if you're bitten.

This map is designed to allow Aquatics to hunt players on land, So there is a stream that runs right through the center of the map that connects to the ocean on either end, named the "Orca Stream" if you want to get the to the other side of the map players will have to either cross this river or a stone bridge near the tropical coastline
I am still working and sorting out all bugs and issues the game still faces while adding a lot new things to the game, Diets will start to make its way into the game, so, animals like eagles will like a fish diet more than a meat diet, carnivores will like a herbivore diet more than carnivore on carnivore. Fishing animals like Bears and Cats will like meat and fish, but the fish helps with their diet and overall health, same for the Eagle.
There are plans to add Alligators which will have sun preference. So they will like to sit in the sun a lot, no diet requirements. And temperature requirements, so the nice hot and humid jungle/marsh area will make it the most comfortable.
Also the environment plans to get much more deadlier, if it's not players it's going to be poisonous plants and maybe weather.
As talked about before there will be Rabbit AI that spawns almost anywhere at any time for players to hunt, Eagles will be able to pick rabbits up and take them to their nesting site or wherever.
So that about wraps up for the plans, Alligator and diets will be coming later to the game, but for now what I've shown and talked about is on its way in soon, Have a great day!

Eagle is being worked on and a fish mechanic is in the works, a new sniff highlight will show fish location in water. Rabbit AI + Snake AI is also WIP too, snaked will threaten mostly young animals with its venom
