Update 2 Patch 1

Greetings Incarnates,

Today we have another batch of bug fixes coming live.

If everything goes well, we will have the first test version of the Single Player mode next week.

Changelog:



  • Player Abilities



    • Artefact Abilities: Artefact abilities will now also have a preview video.
    • Cursed Grounds: Damage numbers should no longer overlap.
    • Kinetic Conversion: Will no longer misfire on rare occasions.

  • Bosses



    • Curse of Servitude: Will no longer crash the server on rare occasions.
    • Frost Golem: Will no longer crash the server on rare occasions.
    • Inquisitor: Minions will correctly despawn when the Boss is killed.

The Hydra - Update 2

Greetings Incarnates,

We’re super excited for today’s Update, as we’ve got a new Artefact, the Soul Drain Catalyst, and a Boss, the Hydra, coming to ASCENDANTS Rising!


Soul Drain Catalyst:



The Soul Drain Catalyst is ideal for players who know how to read the battlefield as the action unfolds.

Being a channeling ability, Soul Drain boosts the damage this weapon inflicts and the mana it creates the longer this Artefact is utilized.

Soul Drain also boasts a powerful signature ability, Giga Drain, which lets you cast a mightier version of the ability for 2 seconds. If you can control this ability for its entire phase, this will result in the Artefact generating a tremendous amount of damage and mana.

The Hydra:



The Hydra bursts onto the scene, and it’s ready to annihilate you!

This Boss takes the old saying, “Two heads are better than one,” to a whole other level.

When players engage the Hydra, they will be confronted with a Boss featuring two heads. However, for each head you cut off this creature, two more heads will sprout from this Boss’s body.

It’s up to you and your fellow Incarnates to continue to engage the Hydra until it cannot spawn new heads.


  • Draining Waters


    Launch a bolt that deals 500 damage and applies one stack of Draining Waters to the Protector.

    Draining Waters: Deals 6000 damage over 20 seconds.

    Grants the Expunge ability. Expunge"Shift+LMB": Remove 1 stacks of Draining Waters and creates a 15-meter zone that deals 300 000 damage over 300 seconds.
  • Cursed Water


    Creates a 6-meter area that lasts for 3 seconds. When it expires, it forms a 6-meter area that deals 240 000 damage over 120 seconds.
  • Wave


    Creates a 10-meter wide Wave that sweeps the Arena, dealing 5000 damage to all Incarnates it hits.
  • Coral Burst


    Creates a 30-meter area that lasts for 8 seconds. When it expires, it forms a 35-meter area that deals 6000 damage.
  • Eggs


    Creates an Egg with 5000 health at a random location.

    Egg: After 15 seconds, the Egg is destroyed, and a Commander spawns.

    Eliminating the Egg deals 500 damage to all Incarnates and Bosses.
  • Poison Spike


    Launch a Poison Spike that deals 100 damage and applies Infection.

    Infection: Increases damage taken by 25% for 60 seconds. Jumping removes all stacks of Infection and deals 500 damage to all non-Protectors.

    • Kinetic Conversion: Will no longer fail to launch on random occasions.

Patch 1.02

Greetings Incarnates,

I would like to welcome all the new Incarnates delivered to us by the SteelSeries giveaway.

Today’s patch is aimed at improving the stability of the Group Finder tool and our servers.
