A Goblintastic Hotfix! - Introducing the Lootgoblin
Greetings, brave archers!
Prepare yourselves for an adventure as a mischievous lootgoblin has arrived into our realm, bearing precious treasures in the form of an exciting update. This small but mighty hotfix is bound to make your arrows fly straighter and your victories shine brighter!
Keep your eyes peeled and your quivers at the ready, for the lootgoblin may appear. Hunt it down and claim extra skill points, ensuring you become an even more formidable force on the battlefield.
Changelog
Improvements:
- Be cautious of the potential arrival of Lootgoblin, hunt it down for extra skill points
- Added save slot selection. Now, when you share the game with your family and friends, you can easily manage multiple saves.*
- Added an option to adjust the bow's offset
- Enhanced feedback for weakspot hits
- Added feedback for Frigg's Plenty skill
- Increased the size of floating texts
- Reduced the cooldown on hand gesture interactions
- Added an Easter egg in relation to the hot summer - you'll see ;)
Bugfixes:
- Resolved an issue where some enemies became stuck under the platform on the Riverside map
- Fixed discomfort while using the Pine tar skill on the Forge map
- Fixed an issue where in co-op games the Hourglass skill was affecting not only the enemies but also the client player
Balance:
- Increased the strength of the basic bow
- Decreased the explosion damage of Bug enemies
- Strengthened the Dragonsparks skill
- Enhanced the Roadside Tavern skill
(* For players who already have a saved game, here's an important note: Your previous save is now located in Slot 1, so you won't lose any progress. All your unlocked skills are still there. However, please note that we will only record the time played from this point forward. -If you are not happy about this please write to the devs on Discord and they will update your play time.)

Hotfix - Coop fixes and improved visuals
Join forces with your allies and dive into the enhanced cooperative gameplay after this hotfix for Ashen Arrows!
Changelog:
- fixed a bug where the Ratatoskr Arrow skill didn't have effect when used by a client in a coop game
- fixed a bug where the Whistle Arrow skill didn’t have effect when used by a client in a coop game
- fixed a bug where Fungus skill didn't trigger in a coop game
- fixed a bug where the thunder bomb flew in a strange spin
- fixed a visual bug with turning off the physics on graspable items after dropping them
- fixed the grab point and position of the hand held staff
- visual fixes and particle optimization on enemy status effects: haste and fire
- upgraded visuals: throwable bombs now have decals after exploding

EARLY ACCESS -- June 12th!
Early Access is coming!
We are excited to announce that Ashen Arrows will be available for early access starting on June 12th, and we want to share the excitement with our amazing community. As a token of our appreciation, we are giving away free Steam keys!
▶ Join us for a Twitch live event on June 12th starting at 6 PM (EST time), where we will be distributing these keys. To participate, all you have to do is join the Ashen Arrows Discord server before June 12th at 5 PM (EST time). Every member on the server will have the opportunity to be chosen by the gods and receive a key.
(Even if you can't follow the live stream, don't worry! If you are selected as a winner, you will receive your key via direct message after the live stream.)
▶ To increase your chances of winning, we invite you to watch our Twitch live stream on June 12th, starting at 6 PM (EST time). During the stream, we will be giving away a total of 20 keys. What happened since the demo version?
Since the release of the demo version, our community has shown us huge support, for which we are incredibly grateful! We have made significant improvements to the game and here are some notable additions:
- CO-OP Gameplay: We have introduced a cooperative experience where three archers can join forces to defend against a wide array of enemies in the Bastion game mode.
- Expanded Viking Archer Storyline: The saga of the Viking archer continues across three brand-new maps, offering players a deeper and more engaging narrative.
- Enhanced Roguelike Experience: The popular Bastion game mode, known for its roguelike elements, now features four distinct maps, providing players with even more variety and challenges.
- New Skills: We have introduced a range of exciting new skills that players can acquire and master, expanding the strategic possibilities and adding more depth to the gameplay.
We remain dedicated to further improving and expanding the game based on the invaluable feedback and support from our wonderful community.

We are just a small group of friends who like to play and design games together and the interest in Ashen Arrows just blew us away.
