Asphyxia

Double Release

Hello, everyone!

Today, my free yuri VN with a cute 18th century girl, The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns, was released on Steam. The art was done by SillySelly, who also did the art for Asphyxia, and the writing/programming was done by me, Ebi-Hime. The writing style in Emmeline Burns isn't entirely similar to Asphyxia's (it's mostly in first person, and it's not as deliberately archaic), but sections of it should feel rather familiar. Also, despite the title, it's not as downbeat as Asphyxia is. Please feel free to check it out, if you are so inclined.

And the next VN is pretty different from Asphyxia and Emmeline - even though the art is, again, by SillySelly, and the writing/programming is by me. Strawberry Vinegar a light-hearted slice of life/comedy VN, with a lot of silly anime clichés, and a lot of CGs of delicious-looking food. If you want to read something cute and (hopefully) funny, please consider taking a look. There are also some minor yuri elements, but they're not very explicit, because the main characters are pretty young (at least, in the main body of the game). SV is available here, and is $9.99 (but with a 15% discount during launch week).

Thank you to everybody who has supported me so far! If you read these VNs, I hope you enjoy them!

The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns

Hello, everyone!

I have some exciting news. My free yuri VN, The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns, which was made for the Yuri Game Jam, is now up on Steam Greenlight. The story is relatively short, and will be completely free! The art was done by the same artist who worked on Asphyxia, and the writing style (in some scenes) is relatively similar. There are also a few references to Asphyxia in it, as well.

If you're interested in seeing this game on Steam, please vote for it here!

And, if you want to read the visual novel for yourself, it can be downloaded, in its entirety, on itch.io here.

The Steam version of the VN should be a bit more updated, with more spelling error fixes, corrections to any poorly constructed sentences, and there will be a new scene (with some new art) in it as well.

Thank you!

Achievements

I added achievements for Asphyxia because people like them, or so I'm told. If you download the newest version of the game through Steam, you should be able to get them.
I also fixed a few other minor things (mostly spelling errors), but it's nothing too major.

If you have any issues with actually achieving the achievements, please tell me!
