There hasn't been an update in a while, and it's because I've been busy upgrading the game's simulation engine! Indeed, the Steam version of Astonishing Baseball was based off the simulation engine used in AB21 for mobile. But many improvements have been added in the 22 edition. That's why I took some time to finally port it to the PC version. Not only this means new features, but also that it will be easier to bring new stuff in the future!
Here's a short but non-exhaustive list of the new features:
New awards and competitions, like "Les jeux de Paris" and the "Scout of the year" title
Improved base-running, stealing and defense simulations, especially for catchers
You can now pick your difficulty when creating a save. Hard and extreme settings will bring new challenges to your clubhouse!
Improved stadium simulation
The shop is now open (beta)
Improved AB magazine, with more content than ever!
This new update has been tested a lot, but if you see any issue, feel free to report it at support[at]astonishing-sports.app!
Special thanks to Andy for his many tests and bug reports! See you at the ballpark!
Ranked mode
Happy update!
This week, I've added the "Ranked mode", which allows you to play ranked games against other players. The more you progress, the harder it will be to reach the top! It's also a great opportunity to take a look at the top players in the world, or see how good your pitchers are, thanks to the new online leaderboards!

You've got a baseball friend
Hey baseball fans!
This week's update brings a small but nice improvement for the multiplayer interface! You will now be able to see the list of recent players you've played against, as well as play some "practice" games against teams of different levels. A great way to try that new lineup of yours!
There's also a new button on the leaderboards screen to see some of your Steam stats, with more to come very soon!

Hey baseball fans!
This week's update is quite big, and still, there's much more to come!
The first big new thing is the ability to play friendly online games with your friends. Ask for their baseball tag, and see who's the best coach! This is just a first step, and it might be unstable, so feel free to share any feedback you have on this feature. Actual competitive modes will be added over time.
But that's not all! I'm also bringing you the Astonishing Cuisine Show!
Participate in the show with your chef, and try to win the huge training points prize!
Finally, rosters have been updated, so it's the perfect time to try to build a new team!
See you soon!

I've also added a "Rich presence" feature, so your Steam friends can see which team you're coaching in-game. A great way to show off!

The Superstar update
Hey baseball fans!
We finally got some good news last week, and I'm sure all of you will be happy to enjoy baseball in the upcoming days. But if you find yourself with some downtime, maybe you will want to try the new Superstar feature!
With this new update, whenever you have a fully-trained All-star, you can decide to turn him/her into a superstar, which would give them unique perks, like an extra defense point, or the lifetime contract!

AB22 Mobile beta
Greetings baseball fans!
Most of you are playing Astonishing Baseball on both Steam and mobile. If that's the case, you will be happy to learn that a brand new version of AB is currently in beta on both Android and iOS!
This new version brings many, many new features and improvements. So head to our Discord if you want to give it a try, or learn more!
We were all hoping to see the first games of this spring by now. But baseball continues to live here!
This week's update brings many small improvements and bug fixes. But most of all, it increases by 50% the rewards earned from daily and weekly tasks. A real game changer!
More Training points for PC players After a few conversations with some PC players, it became clear that training points were too hard to get. The carefully crafted balance that works on mobile was not good enough for the Steam version, where several sources of TP are not available. In this update, tasks are now giving 50% more training points. Besides that, the "train a player" task is also giving a bit more TP. This should make your coaching life easier now ;)
Features and improvements
More training points can be earned from daily and weekly tasks
New header images for the next game screen
Improved bios for minor coaches
Rings have been added to the HOF players
Improved pinch-hitting display
Improved Biggest FA contracts message
New default logo for Cleveland
Bug fixes
Front office coach training has been fixed
The Baseball Cup MVP title is now given after the final game, as it should be!
Bug fix for ballpark earnings and souvenirs
Display fix for potential minor team coaches
The last starter task is now triggered on the correct day
Corrections for interviews
Various fixes for tasks
Mod your world
Say hello to our weekly update!
This small version brings a very handy feature: the ability to import "custom names" from online mods. This means you can get "real" names from within the game, but also create your own if you wish!
I already here you asking for custom rosters, and don't worry, these will come!
I also spent some time improving the history page for players (Thank you Andy for the feedback).
